The Mighty Max animated series will never get out out of VHS rip hell.
>>
I'm glad you decided to use AI to show how much you really care about the series.
>>
>>155723433
Oh, really? I used to like that show, I had no idea it didn't have modern transfers.
>>
>>155723450
Is that AI? It fooled me.
>>
>>155723433
The girl was cute
>>
>>155723488
Look closely, it is AI.
>>
>>155723433
mediatoon used to literally have it for distribution on their site until a few months ago. guess they lost the license or something cos seems to be gone now but we'll def get web-dls one day
>>
>>155723450
all available VHS episodes have been remastered with the best upscaling pre-AI hand-made one-guy-in-his-basement tech can buy

the remaining episodes are in garbage 90s TV VCR rip quality. real shame, it's a hell of a thing.
>>155724007
wait what? did anyone rip it?
>>
Mattel needs to revive the toys first.
>>
>>155724014
>wait what? did anyone rip it?
No, they're a licensing company individual people can't buy the rights for personal use, it's more for streaming services etc so something like Tubi would license the right from them however as far as I'm aware no service did. But it's proof the series has been officially restored and isn't in licensing hell, it's just no one wants it right now. Eventually it'll show up somewhere, probably if Mattel ever decide to actually do anything with the actual toys.

https://www.studiocanal.com/title/mighty-max-1994/ still has some samples of the restoration and it looks fucking phenomenal.
>>
>>155724157
let me rephrase since you kinda didn't get it

this "mediatoon" website you're talking about, where you said it's been restored. why didn't anyone pirate it from that? If it was playable, it was rippable.
>>
>>155723488
if you cannot tell
you're legitimately retarded
this emperor has no clothes
>>
>>155724298
What if the emperor's just wearing a flesh tone zentai? Maybe we can't get that up-close a view of him, man.

Everywhere I go it's the same thing.
Luddites impotently bitching that AI was used for anything, at all.

I am certain that when the wheel was invented, similar shit was happening.
"How could that be?" You might be asking.
After seeing this shit, "How could it not."
>>
>shitty AI pic
>Sonic reference
Huh, I guess we can add Mighty Max to the list of things Vogelfag keeps making shitty AI threads about
>>
>>155724818
difference is the wheel didn't have the "muscular guy hauls you around in his arms" companies going "shit, those wheels are gonna put us out of business. let's publicly, loudly, and irritatingly endorse the wheel, make it a HUGE issue in the media slabs that gets everyone chiseling their reactions, make shitty, square wheels, whatever it takes to raise an angry mob to ban the wheel"
>>
>>155724870
No, that is wrong.
Everything opposite of what you think probably happened.
>>
>>155724870
or, er, perhaps... horse and camel? or hadrosaur or whatever... companies. You know what I'm saying.
Point is those companies shitted up their industry, and now people want the freedom to wheel around their own way, or even add wheels to the existing shitty horses. Can't have that. The horse companies have STRICT AREAS you can travel down, and they need that maintained because the camel companies fucking own them, and want everyone poor and dead.
>>
>>155724818
Ai is not a wheel, AI makes ovals and hexagons. Go get a melty somewhere else.
>>
I love when they immediately drop the facade and prove me right

see they learned from filesharing. they will never let anyone have the freedom to mess around with their own media again. no AI modifications, no local copies of games you can modify, nothing.
>>
>>155724941
>objectively amazing thing
>"Oooooh I hate it I hate it I hate it. BAD FOR ENVIRONMENT PROBABLY!"
>>
>>155724963
You love it so much you spend your entire Saturday seething at people on 4chan rather than using AI to make your dreams a reality (because it can actually do it and you are starving for validation)
>>
>>155724963
Hi it's late at night and your gloating is too retarded.
I can't tell which side you're advocating for.
>>
>>155724974
and I love how they constantly bash corporashuns nevermind their entire narrative comes from them. They're putting on fucking long moustaches and twirling them because people are that gullible. Could not be more obviously deliberately inflammatory actions, and that eco-shit is a huge part of it.
>>155724997
I'm too old, I don't know how to use it yet. I'm waiting for it to be something real easy. You just run your file through it and tell it "put back in the voice actor who was fired because he sat in the wrong lawn chair by the wrong government building" and then enjoy.

Donatello and the woomymorph are having a strategic huddle.

If you think this isn't an incredible watershed moment for technology, you are an ass.
>>
>>155725020
>writing a prompt and clicking “generate” is too hard for him
Wow lmao
>>
>>155725060
>AI is a watershed moment for technology because I can smash my autistic hyperfixations made for children together
Notice how nothing new or interesting was created
>>
>>155725060
even the AI makes those hideous things cuter than the game.
>>155725068
okay, i'm old AND poor. and the only places I know where you can just 'go there and click prompt' charge if you want more than like 3 things every 72 hours, and censor the fuck out of you for no reason.
Sad because I have a good GPU.
>>155725089
your soul is black and tarry.
>>
>>155725089
I'm gonna let you stew on that one and try again.
There conceivably may have been something that put me in my place, and then there's the dumbest most easily squashed shit you could've possibly said, and you went for the latter.
>>
>>155725098
>okay, i'm old AND poor. and the only places I know where you can just 'go there and click prompt' charge if you want more than like 3 things every 72 hours, and censor the fuck out of you for no reason.
>Sad because I have a good GPU.
The model that made this one ( >>155725060 ) was Novel AI. A browser model, no computer artillery required. Gens typically take 4 seconds or so.
But if you're indeed poor, that's still a hindrance. The 25 bucks a month bit.
Just know that it's uncensored. And I mean *~*~*UNCENSORED*~*~*
https://files.catbox.moe/c61qw0.png
>>
>>155725106
eh.. I dunno, he had like, one-sixth of a point. A better rebuttal is to point out that 99.9% of human-made stuff is exactly as, if not less, original or interesting.
>>155725209
oh NovelAI does that? okay, I have that bookmarked for later. Maybe when I have moneys. for now, I think the entire point of AI is that it's free. You can't profit from it, legally or fundamentally. Because anyone else could make their own. It's just like the old days of the web, releasing shit for free. I did NOT know novelAI was uncensored. good to know.
>>
>>155725227
>oh NovelAI does that? okay, I have that bookmarked for later. Maybe when I have moneys.
There's also a free trial.
Stick to v4.5, that's the version I use.
v5 still has lots of weird bugs I can't manuever.
>>
>>155725098

Then get a job you leech

And to those who don't know, you have to have an account, and set that account's location to Japan, to see all of pixiv.

I'm more of a 'let me use it once in a while for free' guy than a 'free trial' guy since I'll always be saving that free trial for later, but I hear you.
I'm actually impressed at how well AIDungeon is replacing the erotic text websites that used to exist before the net was sanitized. It's just text, but.. it does the trick.
>>155725288
workin on it. Chronic fatigue. Everything I'm good at is being automated, often by AI. Whattayougonnado, it just goes to show that I was never valued, I was only being hired because there was no alternative. And that's not something to rail at when you lose it.
>>
>be AI generative Art
>exist for 5+ years now
>biggest claims to fame is stung Tung Sahur and We Are Charlie Kirk
>two things that are not taken seriously in any capacity
You can argue all you want but I don’t see AI as legitimate until one (1) thing is made with it that the people at large consider a masterpiece.
>>
>>155725383
>I'm more of a 'let me use it once in a while for free' guy than a 'free trial' guy since I'll always be saving that free trial for later, but I hear you.
I could be mistaken but I think the free trial resets month by month.
Again, I could be mistaken.
>>
>>155725295
I don't get why people post AI to a site like pixiv, but.. damn, not bad.
>>155725360
ha, truth.
>>
>>155725395
Uh, just 2 years ago it was completely dogshit.
Just check out the evolution of Will Smith eating noodles, with timestamps.

What lines are you gonna spout when it advances radically again?
Tell us now.
>>
>>155725395
It's not for masterpieces
it's for shit that falls through the masterpiece cracks. Things we used to agonize over doing by hand, like sentence mixing, shooping images together, etc, to make stupid gags remixing content from pieces of existing media we wanted to joke about. If you think there was ever a YTMND masterpiece, then that general area is where your AI masterpiece is gonna come from
>>155725397
shit, I'ma go check.
>>
>>155725410
>What lines are you gonna spout when it advances radically again?
Is it a lie to point out that there’s been nothing made that people consider a legitimate artistic achievement worth preserving?
I’ll believe it when I see it, you have my word. But until it stops just being a joke, like I said, it’s not legitimate to me.
>>
>>155725410
hey has anyone used AI to make Woll Smoth videos? I could go for one of those. That would give me 10-15 seconds of happiness. Remember Woll Smoth? What if the whole video was like that.
>>
>>155725408
>I don't get why people post AI to a site like pixiv, but.. damn, not bad.
1. It's one of the only sites that allows AI like this, so long as you mark it.
2. Fully loli-pilled.
>>
>>155725438
>Is it a lie to point out that there’s been nothing made that people consider a legitimate artistic achievement worth preserving?
Why should I believe you?
You shit on AI invariably.
>>
AItards will spend all their time trying to defend AI from detractors than create one thing with AI that legitimizes it and makes people think otherwise.
>b-b-but they’ll just hate it regardless!
Once you can make something amazingly resonant and beautiful that people can’t tell is just the same slop as always, you can trick them by revealing it was AI afterwards. But you can’t, because nothing has ever been that way yet, and more time is spent arguing than making good art.
>>
>>155725451
I suppose I have no other ideas where you'd post it.
>>155725462
in fairness, the things WE shit on, we do so invariably. because variablation is how the kooks get you. First it's a little variation, a few exceptions, then soon they're walking all over you.
Their devotion is admirable, they just backed the wrong horse. Here's a tip: if there's a ton of people agreeing with you automatically, you're probably wrong.
>>
>>155725491
>it needs to make something deemed worthwhile in order to be allowed!
that's 'obscenity' talk, mom.
>>
>>155725491
>create one thing with AI that legitimizes it and makes people think otherwise
>>
All of the anti-AI talk could’ve been avoided if you retards started by saying
>look how much these tools can help artists make new and amazing art quicker than ever
Instead of
>say goodbye to your jobs, people I’m clearly jealous and weirdly vindictive towards
Every artist would’ve been on board if you weren’t insecure losers about it
>>
>>155725535
Luddites have been with us much longer than the word luddite.
>>
>>155725521
that's pretty gnar, but the way the teeth start to fuse together past the canines kinda ruins it.
>>
I can't wait to kill AI. You're all fucked.
>>
>>155725535
that second statement is, again, concocted by the people who benefit financially by you banning personal-use AI.
We would never claim it lets us 'create art.' it lets us modify art, quickly. That's the point of it. Imagine you had a machine that could instantly tailor your suits differently, add more pockets, change zippers to buttons, but could not actually make new clothes. it's like that.
>>155725555
I was really, really disappointed when they changed Thanos from a guy who had a literal boner for Death to a fucking Malthusian, and I hear a shockingly high number of people not be aware of how discredited Malthusianism is. Shockingly.
>>

>>155725575
I think that's part of what sells it as a strange aberration, but okay, suppose I fix it real quick.
>>
I dont care, or at least its futile to care, about all the ai generated art slop that gooner simpletons and Facebook aunts consume. People want to consume that shit and the market is going to let them, whatever. My schizo beef is that we're surrendering our creative ability and critical thinking to machines that can be programmed to accept whatever bias its creator wants to push. So we get a future generation of idiot sheep who cant even think at a creative or critical level. And its all being pushed so hard and so fast that people in ai vulnerable professions will not have any time to retrain or adapt. Its like theres no ethics behind any of this.

>My schizo beef is that we're surrendering our creative ability and critical thinking to machines that can be programmed to accept whatever bias its creator wants to push
I'm not.
>>
>>155725616
Hell yeah. Now see, this is what people need to be doing with AI shit. fixing it. Modifying it. the AI shit modifies the existing art, then the real artists modify it, until finally the two even out. I've gotten really good at this kind of editing, and I wish more people wanted help with it.
>>155725637
Seriously, it's the opposite of that. WITHOUT AI, we're stuck with whatever bias the creator wants to push. With it, you can just change it. Imagine that Gravity Falls episode "Tourist Trapped" except you fix the ending so Wendy just said she's okay with his crush but needs him to stop acting so nervous, and someone, say, Soos, corrects the bitchy girls reeing about Dipper taking phone numbers from more than one stranger.
