I have to admit I don't think the comic has been good for most of its run. Like, after 2014 or 15 the comic became so different in tone and writing from what it used to be. I don't think it's Katie's fault, moreso the fact that gaming culture changed a lot over the years, but the point still stands.But that said, the era when Awkward Zombie WAS good, was REALLY fucking good. It was THE gaming comic, it was so creative and unique for its time, it was genuinely funny most of the time, and it overall had a lot of charm. I don't think any attempt to replicate it has been successful. And for this, I am still able to look back on it fondly. Happy 20th, AZ.
