When I was 13 or so watching this episode for the first time, I didn't know the expression "born with a sliver spoon in your mouth". So when Cartman was upset he wasn't poor and stupid enough for Nascar and said to Kenny "I wasn't born with a plastic spoon in my mouth!" I thought it was an abortion joke. I thought Cartman meant Kennys parents couldn't afford a clothes hanger and tried to abort him a spoon.

You were 13 and didn’t know that phrase? Either you were born with silver spoon or a plastic spoon in your mouth.

>>155954136
Definitely plastic.

Yeah, my mam couldn't afford a clothes hanger

I caught that Sixth Sense parody with the dead celebrities episode as a kid. When they did the beauty pageant and the 2 male judges were just fapping like crazy, I didn't understand WTF was going on with them. So, when they were arrested I just figured they were retarded and got hauled off to the funny farm.

Reminds me when the boys didn't know what jerking off was and said they were milking the dog

When they kept making "You're too fast in bed" sex jokes, I thought they were referring that he was too much of a selfish dick that gets himself off and leaves her unsatisfied, in a way that is 100% correct, minus the part where I also thought jamming it in unprepared leaves your partner unsatisfied which is also true.

I dont think ANY kid would be able to understand the "On Time Percentage" joke from that one Spongebob episode
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt2GQ4VEGPE
And this shit goes way beyond shit like "Drop the soap" cause maybe a teenager whos in the know could tell their young sibling the context or maybe a kid grew up watching M-rated films but this joke is so fucking specific to a toxic ass workplace environment, hell if you get the right kind of jobs when you reach adulthood you might never have to deal with this shit firsthand either. Like Squidward is legit not getting payed that full hour of work for being off by 10 seconds

Why don't zoomers know common idioms? Are they stupid?

I thought the Trump in that episode of Drawn Together was shitting himself every time he fired them instead of orgasming.
>>
>>155956828
he was shitting himself man, why would he fart while orgasming?

I didn’t watch this movie til I was already an adult but anyway,
>”This place reminds me of Blackburn, Lancashire.”
When I saw this in theaters for the 50th anniversary the audience laughed, but I didn’t get it. Apparently it’s in reference to how many potholes were in the roads of Blackburn at the time that John read about in a newspaper.

>Apparently it’s in reference to how many potholes were in the roads of Blackburn at the time that John read about in a newspaper.
Which then was used in the lyrics for "Day in the Life", the final track on Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
>I read the news today, oh boy. 4,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire. And though the holes were rather small, they had to count them all. Now they know how many holes it takes to fill The Albert Hall.

Yeah I know that now. I’m a little ashamed to admit this but I haven’t listened to every Beatles song.

Was there supposed to be another layer to the joke? I just assumed the point of it was that Spongebob is on time while Squidward isn't and the Krusty Krab is so strict about its attendance that even being a few seconds late takes off a massive percentage.
