Even when using a character lora for a specific look, it will frequently change its mind as to how a person's hair or clothes work. It is basically coming up with the idea for what a character looks like 'from scratch' every time. So making the guy is easy. Making the girl who looks like a female version of the guy is slightly less easy, you just have to keep regenerating the prompt until you get one you like. But after that, even with in-painting (a tool that says 'only change the parts of the image inside this part of the picture') changing details of an existing image is like pulling teeth. You'll need to use photoshop to smooth over the rough edges and such to have any hope of it looking good, though if the transition is fast enough the rough parts of the in-between frames might go by so fast no one notices.
