Something I've thought about doing forever is paying an artist to essentially make something like a paper doll system that can be used in rpg maker as a template for showing the characters and body changes. You see this in a lot of paid for games. Like hatzumi of pregnation essentially does this to show pregnancy growth. Its just layering clothes, breast size images, expressions, baby bump size onto of a static body image. I'd include code and some notes on implementing the images. The thing is, should I charge anyyhing for it? I feel like if anyone put out a standard template, things would really take off. Kind of like how thar super deep throat game got 1000s of free assets. I dont know. Just a thought. I feel like a lack of "this" holds a lot of people back. The thing is, you could spend a lot of money making it. You'd be paying for a lot of art. Lots and lots of variations to layer on top of each other is how you make something like this come alive.

Is there a (relatively low effort) way to make the aftermath of being captured fun? I'll admit to not having played many /d/ games beyond kinky dungeon (because it appeals to my fetishes), but in that game once you get captured you either wander the level getting progressively more tied up or get shoved into a cage and left there. Which is hot conceptually but I guess I'm looking for something a bit more engaging.An idea I've had for a while is a sort of "mystery dungeon" style roguelike with the hunger mechanic replaced by a sanity/arousal mechanic. I think since hunger in roguelikes naturally forces you to move on with relative haste it would mesh well with bondage making you slower and/or immobile. certain bindings like blindfolds or gags could also stop you from using items to regain sanity. I thought it was a neat way of doing a short pseudo-bad end/secret quest.

The problem will be finding something about getting fat. I'm kind of drawing a blank on anything with fat progression that has assets to rob, and looks good. I'm sure there are some hideous unity games you could get assets from, but then you would be using images of hideous unity game assets. You could maybe commission 10 images of someone getting fatter, but even at $65 an image to someone in a lower cost of living country, you're looking at $650 just for one character in your game.

Tried to get in to free cities and its really bad, too much info, too many options, shit ui and not intuitive enough. In the first few minutes the player already gets a gorillion stats dumped on him from slaves to menial shit from the arcology. Money is too easy to earn too.

Tailor your slaves to your preferences, buy new slaves to fill up your job positions (and tailor them, too), and spend money and reputation on buying, upgrading, and personalising your arcology.

As for text. The problem with games heavy in text is that 1. A lot of people starting out write too much 2. Its really at its best the first time 3. The player might not be there for what the person is writing. Corruption of Champions is a great example. After hour 10, I'm not reading the walls of text ive already seen. If I boot that game up now, im probably playing for the transformations or pregnancy. So ill ignore a lot of text and focus on the kinks im there for. Of course if im there for pregancy content I might skip it entirely for something like Hazumi of pregnation or Seeds of Destiny, which both have visual representation of the progression of the pregnancy. Does anyone have a guide for making a character creator inside rpgmaker mv? Yes, I have tried google, but the results are for using the rpgmaker building program to create new avatars and sprites for use in the game. Not from doing it inside the game. I suppose I could just have whatever graphics I want to use for the character display when they pick certain things, have it layer the images to show the clothes changing, then store the variables related to each image. BUT, it would be nice to look at how someone else did it. I guess you would it have the game display the images while in the equipment menu. Probably around the bottom of the screen.

Call it Hijinks on the Way Home.Basically, you're a new kid in town, and you've somehow got your hands on the latest hot video game that everyone else is playing. You want to be part of the cool kids, so you've gotta make time to play the game. But oh no, there's homework!The game would play on a day by day basis, and the playable part of each day starts with getting off from school, and mostly ends when you get home. At home, you have to do your homework (takes time), and spend the rest of the day playing the game before you have to go to bed.The way home is divided into X amount of segments. At the start, you mostly just walk home with little happening, but as the game goes on, homework gets harder, and the game gets harder (= you need to spend more time to progress, and progress in game is how you keep your "cool at school" stat). As you progress, you start finding new paths (alternative locations for certain segments) that you can take instead of the default, during which you can come across various events. Maybe you could get an offer to buy a strategy guide for the game (= lets you make progress faster), but then you need money to buy it... How do you make money?And then you get into doing favors, maybe side jobs (which do take up time, so it's always a balancing act, and of course, they get sketchier as time goes on). AI art is remarkably bad - very inconsistent, characters missing important features in sex scenes, and even when it's adressed, they're sloppily glued on in Photoshop, so sloppily that I could do a better job in 10 minutes. Gameplay loop is fun in theory but the execution falls flat. Writing lacks variety. Parasite scenes are neat, but they're not really worth experiencing the rest of the game for. Unfortunate because a lot of the fetishes it goes for I find hot.

If you fail the job interview you get forced into being a secretary while which is one of those event-specific pills. At this point, I feel like I'm starting to get overambitious, so I'm wondering, what would be a good stopping point to release a demo?For reference, my game is ideally going to be yet another sims-like, but with a focus on the world reacting to your character (and your character reacting to your world). There's a "right" way to advance, and the game will force you into it. You can get into chapter 2 as male, but chapter 3 requires MC to be female and will force transform if you aren't. In some builds you could lock yourself out of progress by using parasites on the wrong people in the wrong order (so you can't collect more when you need to use them where the game wants you to).The game has been in dev hell forever because the dev is improving what the dev things is wrong. He wanted modeseven art, and got it; but then he had ideas for more transformations and the art didn't quite cover it. So now dev's making a sequel with AI versions of the art, which at least covers more varied transformations. And MC is female from the start, so there's no forced gender transformation. But the general "sandbox into funnel" design is still in place, from the one chapter of 2 I've played, which points to the whole thing being similar if not identical to the original.

If you're making a linear plot, you can just dump the player into the shoes of a protagonist.
