I am still waiting for someone (who is not me) to make the boomer TSF vs modern TSF crossover story. Why has it not been made yet? I have not lifted a finger to make it myself, but surely the idea is simply so obvious that somebody else must have at least considered it at some point. There are so many older boomer TSF gender-swapping premises and conventions that are rarely utilized anymore (Great Shift, Medallion of Zulo, Spells R Us, etc), and boomer TSF is distinct enough in its characterization and plot development that it could contrast well with modern TSF.Perhaps the basis for the plot could be an older, middle aged man and a younger man both get gender-swapped or gain powers that somehow involved gender-swapping powers. After the stage is set, there could be a humorous clash of cultures between the older man and the younger in a way that reflects how TSF fiction has changed over time.
