Not to reignite the AI debate, but I have messed with LLMs when they first came out, and they were fine. The two problems I have with it are 1) I always run into a point where I want to dictate the story and direct it and the AI just runs in circles, and 2) I don't believe you should wholly do zero work and sell what is basically predictive text strings on the internet for money.Everything negative said about ai images is true, though. Plagiarism, sauceless, slop. The thing that keeps Isekaimesenpai from being slop is that he puts in a shitload of effort to use the images like paper dolls to get the final consistent result.Anyway here's a fuckin video

I don't use chatbots, I just tell the ai to write a story. Turns out ai knows pretty well what a tg story is. It's quite good at doing fanfiction. The Sunny's deck is quiet for once, the morning sun hitting the grass. Suddenly, the galley door flies open."Oi! Sanji! Meat!"Luffy bounds out, completely oblivious to the massive weight bouncing violently under a tiny, stretched red vest. I have a bit of an animation and film background, and even aside from the obvious art inconsistencies that still creep in there, there are narrative beats that leave you with this uncanny feeling because they didn't cut to the next shot soon enough, or they left a shot in without realizing it fucks with the pacing. Stuff like that makes it feel like I'm wasting my time.

>>11531770I'm still going to have to disagree, and this may be just my opinion because like I said I did study this, but until we use this generative tech for some kind of full dive vr holodeck shit it's still going to feel uncanny. And I disagree about it being better than amateur animation, because even if it has a higher framerate or full color, the personality isn't there. Spider verse has the scene of him diving between building at mach speed with crazy framing and speed lines and expressiveness, but the ai would just have him diving and it would be as plain as the words "Spider-Man diving."Again, I will admit my bias, but as an artist I believe that the act of doing is part of why we do it. It's not as results focused as ai bros may think, the process is important too
