Putting a dive time bezel on a gmt watch is actually pretty retarded when you realize in order to use the bezel for timing literally all you need is the arrow/pip and everything else on the bezel is irrelevant. It would actually be more functional if it was a gmt bezel, especially considering it has 24 hours on the chapter ring so yoi could track 3 separate times in theory if you really needed to do that for some reason.
>>
>>18164564
The basic GMT bezel is completely useless, you will never need to track 3 time zones, >>18164563
with the dive bezel you can at least have a 60 min timer
>>
>>18164568
Stop reading with your ass, i asked what movement is in this shitbox and i will inswer myself, its ETA while Tudor has an in-house manufacture caliber.

I think we've discovered the cause of Finncel's gyno: it's all the coffee.

>In addition, you should increase your intake of foods that are rich in zinc, such as chicken breast or spinach, while decreasing coffee consumption since it can raise your blood caffeine level. Having high blood caffeine levels is known to affect reproductive hormones, including testosterone, leading to increased estrogen levels over time.

>>
>>18164585
ETA is as much as in-house for Longines as Kenissi is for Tudor.
>>
>>18164568
Gmt bezel also provides a 60 minute timer. That's the point.
>you'll never need 3 time zones
Until you do. Some people do. Actually, for pilots it would be excellent since you could have the gmt hand set to gmt, the time for home on the 12 hour hand, and the time for wherever you're flying to on the bezel, and you could quickly turn the bezel between flights.
>>
>>18164590
Does rolex own kenissi?
>>
>>18164590
It just isn't. ETA and Longines are two completely different companies which just happen to be ownder by the same parent group, Kenissi was launched as part of Tudor.
>>
>>18164593
>Does rolex own kenissi?
No. Kenissi has an ownership group of which Tudor is one. Chanel, Breitling, and some other investors are also owners.
Rolex does own the land that the Kenissi factory is built on, though.
>>
>>18164593
No, the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation does.
>>18164595
Doesn't change the fact that Kenissi is still a separate company which also produces movements for Cartier, Breitling etc

What are people’s thoughts on Citizen Attesa / Seiko Astron? Are they worth it for an everyday wear watch or way too much ($600-800) for essentially a basic quartz watch with atomic timekeeping?

It's much more than 40%, since the law requires you to spend 60% of the money making the watch in Switzerland, you can count the R&D and marketing money and make the watch entirely in another country and still have the term Swiss Made.

Thoughts?
I'm thinking of getting these, I love how they look but I'm Czech so it has also a special meaning to me. They were used by our fighter pilots in WW2 (or, the original version of it, of course). I know it's just marketing but it makes them a bit cooler.

>>
>>18164844

Because in order to actually fight Germany, they had to leave and fly with RAF. If they stayed here, they wouldn't be able to fly since they would get killed on the ground or jailed. Not sure if you're aware, but the West basically sold out my country and so it went extremely fast, any defense would be useless.

D is the delta between the highest and lowest values
DVH are tmin/max tolerance rates between dial up+down.
Di is dial up
>>
>>18165071
It's all a bit technical. The most important thing to pay attention to is the delta it tells you a maximum change of 5.7 s a day. That's pretty good.

>Yeah the new GMT Navitimers look so good, I'm trying to talk my husband into getting one... I don't know what people would actually USE the GMT hand for though.

Why does this thread hate bittercel so much? He is unironically the best poster we have ever had. Here's my reasons:

bittercel is always brutally honest. He is like water, he will find a crack in your watch and pour in from there. He is the criticism we need. You never get that in watchuseek or reddit, you only get an echo chamber of “nice watch, wear it in good health, champ” bullshit. Not with bittercel, he does not care for your feelings which is why he will tell you the truth. Yes, your watch is too big for you, yes it’s a shitter, yes the lugs look like shit, yes the movement is crap. You, as a critically thinking individual, should embrace this.

We are all protected by anonymity here which is the point of this site. Avatarfags are pathetic going against this. Take reversocel for example; he couldn’t handle a bit of heat from bittercel and immediately fucked off to r/watches as soon as someone wasn’t sucking his cock over his shitters and pens lmfao.

Yes, bittercel may seem bitter at first, but he is the counter force to all this circle-jerking in here. He is harsh but fair. You hold the fact he never posts a watch against him, but that is merely him not taking a side. He is not a brain-dead fanboy to brands (other than Rolex, but Rolex is Rolex). This way he maintains his unbiased position.

And the best part of bittercel? He is always there for, right here, in this thread.

I've seen some youtube clips being honest about Temu, its the same chinese junk on amazon, but shipped direct instead of going to amazon to add on 2 day delivery and the familiarity of amazon. That $2 watch strap is on amazon for $9.99, clearly because amazon has so much surrounding it to make it much faster than temu which makes sense.

People are shouting that temu sells your data which is how its so cheap, but amazon sells data too?

Chrono24 or ebay for buying used?
In this instance what I'm looking at has a lot more seller options on chrono and better prices compared to ebay. 5000usd area, and assuming I'm only buying from dealers with good feedback history.

>>
>>18165712
I wonder if you could kind of make something similar to this work if you used only 2 24 hours hands rather than a 24 hour, a 12 hour, and a minute hand. Like one of those stupid 1 hand watches, but with complications and an actual purpose to reading the time off of one hand(that purpose being cleaning up what would otherwise be a really cluttered dial.) So the watch would have the indexes for the hours, hashmarks for delineating what the minutes and seconds are, and for hands you have
>a 24 hour hand for local time
>a differently colored or marked 24 hour hand for a different time zone(both hour hands could be designed to physically overlap seamlessly if traching another time zone isn't necessary)
>Chronograph seconds hand
>the usual 2 or 3 subdials for small seconds, minutes and hours
You could track the hours and minutes in 2 time zones using only 2 central hands
>>
>>18165733
It's not implied, it's actually really important to know where the subdials are supposed to fit in this and how many subdials there are.
>>
>>18165739
No you don't get it, we want as many hands as possible on the watch dial. You are going the other way with your suggestion. We want more hands, not less.
