Feeling kinda iffy on these ones.I’ve been getting more into minimalist shoes and wanted to try a sort of “urban minimalism” sort of thing. Military style cargos with an oversized tee and some chaco/huraches type deal.Parents saw them and told me they look gay and like women’s sandals before I even left the house. They’re usually pretty supportive on my outfits but this one they couldn’t co-sign on.Any input on these?(XeroShoes Genesis in burgundy)

Something with a thicker strap could look better. Quick browse of the site you posted and their Z or D series would work. Alternatively, try the pair you bought with wider legged pant. The tapper at the ankle with that much bare foot exposed looks goofy on you, it's like a sudden shock of foot.
The cargo pants aren't baggy enough they need to be a little bit really oversized man. The shirt is too long and you look like an autistic Walmart child in it. You're too doughy looking you need to harden the fuck up. Lose the stupid design on the shirt.. it's summer you should be wearing a fucking muscle sleeveless shirt.

Genuine treasure trove for really utilitarian stuff.The black cargos I posted the pic of have these really nice buttoned pockets, tie-cuffs to cinch the ankles, and an integrated nylon belt with a quick release. They have little looped pockets to tuck the ankle ties, but with taller boots they look better out.
