What is going on here? An imbalance? Winged scapula? Something else? Which side is causing the problem and how do I fix it? I already do all my back exercises unilaterally

Get your back flat against a wall and see where your shoulder blades fit
Push them in and try to align them
That will/should be your natural standing position
