How do I fix bad posture? My shoulders are uneven and my back hurts

Do back exercises with good form
Pullups, pulldowns and bent over rows are all good for this

that's quite the relief to hear, it was doing pullups that I noticed how misaligned I was at all; I'll slow down and work on form for a bit instead of focusing so much on volume

Pullups are hard to do for beginners for a good amount of reps with the right form.
Try an assisted pullup machine for 15 reps or so if you have access to one, otherwise you can switch to something like chin ups which are generally easier to get high rep counts in
