How long into a fast does it take for fat burning to start? Some people say 12 hours, other people with jewish sounding last names on YouTube say 3 days.

Well I dont know about fasting specifically but it takes several days to deplete your glycogen and use all the food in you digestive system.
Any non-retard who graduated high school should be able to figure that much out.
Maybe ask your homeroom teacher, you fat idiot.

Fat burning is not some sort of on/off system. Your body uses AND stores fat (as long as you eat) constantly. If you have glycogen in your muscles and liver your body can also use that as energy, your body can use both at the same time. Hormones like insulin influences the amount of fat stored and it does inhibit some lipolysis, but it can never be completely turned off.

I make 12-14 hours pauses between meals (8 is sleep) and it boost metabolism(I don't get fat even though I eat carbs and sweets) but to lose fat you need more
and 3 days is nothing serious, you can lift without eating for 3 days with same weight

I almost lost some teeth on intermittent fasting, so be careful.

Usually 1-2 hours after your last meal. As soon as insulin goes back to baseline, fat burning resumes.
