I take R-ALA. Its an antioxidant that sensitizes you to the effects of insulin, allowing carbohydrates and sugars to be more readily absorbed as glyocogen rather than being converted into fat tissue. Really helps with gains

Not OP but the pathway is sodium dependent for moving rala around the body so you'll need sodium, b7 and b5 or you'll become deficient if you take a significant dosage.
