You should've done the bare minimum of reading the Arch wiki page on maintaining your system. There it clearly states that partial updates are not supported and you should not install a new package without also doing a system upgrade.

Arch is easy to break if you're a retard who can't follow simple instructions. Maybe something like Linux Mint will be more to your taste?

I have a copy of Arch on my M1 Mac under VMware. Kernel 6.7.8 becomes Kernel 6.8.7 when you run Pacman. The scripts are incorrect.
