This is the only way i know of to use vim with non-mono fonts, as gvim doesn't support them either
Windows Terminal
You don't need a terminal.
Whatever is the KDE default. Who cares, it's a fucking terminal.
>>100159765BlackBox on Ubuntu.GNOME Console is nice, but I like BlackBox better due to the tabs being in the title bar.

i use foot because it's really fast and doesn't use that much memory

>>100162057That says pengin
I use Gnome Terminal. There is also Gnome Console, and while I generally like removing feature bloat, the inability to change the color theme (yes, seriously) is unacceptable to me.OTOH, since it is open source, wouldn't you be able to change the source code and recompile? Reminds me of suckless...

>>100159765I use xterm. After a learning curve, I was able to configure it to my needs, and to look good. That includes font, font size and color palette, so I guess that counts as ricing. Xterm is in every linux and bsd, so now when I distrohop, I can just take my config and my usual terminal is there, with zero effort. For those have more than half a brain and are not afraid of readng a man page or two, xterm is all you need.

cool retro term with an Apple ][ font obv.
Alacritty even tho it's mediocre as hell. But it's the only fast terminal I've found that isn't bloated as hell and has proper font rendering.
I used the plain XFCE terminal for a long time. Then I decided to use Kitty and I enjoyed it a lot because of the colorschemes and sane key bindings. When I lost my setup due to disk failure I tried eterm, urtxv and gnome terminal. I've decided having a cool terminal emulator is pointless.
>>100161220>>100161420yep i just use default kde too. for the brief time i used gnome i used default that it shipped with.

Alacritty. Everything else is bloat.Tabs, sessions, copy paste can be handled by tmux.A terminal emulator should just be a surface.
urxvt as a daemon

Konsole, as it displays the running process in its windows chrome w/o additional configuration
