Is there a way to train DALL-E 3's model? or use img2img ,a model, a LoRA, anything that can give me control over DALL-E 3 like with SD 2.1 ?

How far has training come so far? cause I have very limited data and I need to use that limited data for training.
How many images do I need and what variation of them?

I get this error randomly in forge too. It is especially likely to happen when I paste an image into the inpaint window, but I want to say I've seen it in conjunction with controlnet too. Rarely, it will fix itself after genning a few times. But more likely, I have to restart forge and then refresh the UI. An annoying bug

For 3+ months there have been very good models by MiaoKa now WangKa but the pony training allows more poses/buitlin characters. Highly recommending these models.

Figures did work even with SD1.5 already tho, just not as well. I suppose we can turn them better into actual 3d with CRM, TripoSR, SV3D [...] tho.

It's better when they're closer to the viewer. It struggles when they're farther away.
The workaround right now is shooping and inpainting. Basically you can sloppily remove a sixth finger with GIMP/Photoshop/Photopea/whatever then inpaint over it with like 0.2 denoising strength and the inpainting will cover up any sign you shooped it.

Depending on what you need to actually do you don't need an extremely beefy GPU.

You can also IaaS but pick your own software - work with the Krita integration or a ComfyUI workflow that produces quite a few variants. It's not a 100% established thing.

Of course it's subjective to an extent but to me actual art is where you have full creative control, when I draw I have control about every little dot and line to the extent I'll never have with AI generators, even tools like controlnet etc offer that level of control. Maybe AI wil lallow that level in the future, but now it is far from it and more like giving another artists directions or at best supply them with a rough sketch, whilke the rest of the work is up to that artist(not me), just that in that case the AI happens to be the artist.
The difference between my enjoyment of generating AI images and drawing myself is like having the xtra long chili cheese at burgerking because I feel like it, and actually cooking a full meal for myself(and I enjoy cooking).

So to you then if you use splattering as a technique it's no longer art? You don't have control over where each drop lands.

In ComfyUI:

Thing with local/IaaS is that you also can use more stuff like like LoRA IPAdapters or the far less widely used software like:

Even splattering allows more control than the current AI generators, you have choice about the type of canvas, kind of color, how you mix it to achieve the proper viscosity and effect you want etc. Maybe AI will come this far eventually but as of now it's far from it and basically giving anotehr artist directions, only that in that case the artist is an AI. It's not my work, someone else has done it.

No, the open source tools also do integrate a bunch of these features into editors over time.

Other features are still very much a moving target tho. Some may require a more tech hands-on approach with ComfyUI or such. It will be a moment until simplified workflows that do (nearly) everything IPadapters can do show up in image editors and so on and so forth.

AI imagery is still nowhere near the level of photography as it does not allow the level of control a simple photographer has like eg slightly changing the angle, manipulating lighting, subject etc. A big hurdle there is the lack of long term memory current AI generators have so you can't finetune a scene to the level a photographer can, and instead have to rely on chance. Once AI gets proper long term memory it'll be a huge step to allowing true creative expression.

Surpasses 99% of alternative methods involving "effort" (~complacency and stupidity of sticking with legacy techniques that are NOT actually better), yes.

There is an 1% or less alternative that is still better in actual result for now but the "this is not my definition of art" brigades aren't using them. Not like we can help them if they refuse to get good with the superior tools tho.
