Just now in Spotify the scroll bar faded out because the UI programmers thought that would be a cool feature. But then I couldnt get it to come back for a few seconds so I could, you know, scroll. Also when I put my mouse over the scroll bar area and mouse wheel down it doesnt move.

YOU BROKE A FUCKING SCROLL BAR. WHICH HAS BEEN AROUND FOR DECADES.

Young people have no idea how broken tech is because they werent around when things 'just worked' but didnt have a drop shadow or some faggot new font.

Same shit with Ms Edge, can't click on the (ironically) edge to move the scrollbar

Yep. Zoomie UX "experience engineers" think their shit is cool when it just fucking sucks. They don't know this because they don't use their own shit on a desktop, so everything is a finger swipe for them. "What do you mean it's broken?"

I bet they stole that from MacOS Ventura which "introduces" that. all macOS versions suck but holy shit youre taking away basic user controls now and it looks like spotify fucking copied it because durrr appl did it, a tale old as time
>>
zoomies won't even notice because they just use trackpads. welcome to modern UI design
