I wonder if you could chain two attention-mask IP Adapters together, one for eyes and one for lips, to get arbitrary makeup styles on your facedetailer. In theory, you could just grab the eyes from a library, replacing specific colors on the iris/eyeshadow with pre-drawn masks then feed the color corrected image to the IP adapter, while the lips you could go a little crazier with by using any kind of inage as reference. I'm sure there will be complications once I start experimenting but it'd be nice to not be so dependant on makeup loras for faces.

I think IP Adapter isn't going to take well to small resolution changes. The other solution would be to work with close-up/hi-res but I am not sure how that would work when you zoomed out.

I've even had some degree of success using non-facedetailer-upscale on onky faces for knee-up shots at 768*1152. Though, admittedly, I don't think you could do the two-mask trick at such a low res even if it works mechanically.

We're getting it right this second because this hobby is directly tied to unlimited VC money that is no longer quite so unlimited.
