Psp go is the best handheld console design in my honest opinion. It feels so good to open and close on top of the portability it has as a media/game playing device. It might not be comfortable over long periods of time but I don't think I use it long enough for that to matter.

not op, but it does have a card slot (memory stick duo), maybe he made a typo or doesn't realise not all cards are sd cards
in any case, you can get adapters to put microsd cards in a psp as well
>>
>>100171302
>Can stream radio over wi-fi (wpa-aes)
It can't do any modern encryption protocol. I'm now downgrading my security to use a gimped browser on a 20 year old consoke
>>
>>100171860
use openwrt to make a zone just for psp and create new ssid with wpa1-aes and make 50 char random password you type only once. it's not as bad as nds which used fucking wep. aes encryption is modern standard today
>>
>>100171559
I think it is far more likely that OP doesn't have a PSP and doesn't know anything about them.
>>
>>100171921
>just reflash your router to use crappy apps on a 20 year old handheld
Yeah no
>>
>>100171967
i considered that, but he mentioned somewhat lesser known things like video out support, he could have looked them up sure, but if he did you'd think he was less likely to mix up what kind of memory card it took
idk, you'd have to ask op what happened, not that it really affects anything, it can take external/swappable memory cards that are proprietary and can be adapted to microsd, so it has the advantage that he was pointing out regardless, like it doesn't affect his argument

Yeah and? It's been fully depozzed, you have full code execution on it. It's got a MIPS inside too btw.
>>
>>100172099
you can't depoz jeet out of ARM arch. To develop for MIPS you need to know white man's languages like C and assembly. For ARM, any java jeet can do it

i still have my old ass red psp on my shelf, the battery got bloated and i cant find the cover for it (used a shitty pice of tape to hold it in). I still rember when my brother used to pirate games for us from a old crappy polish pirating site with a hamster.

one of the best things i had and honestly id repair it given the chance

This is pretty good, but it lacks a physical keyboard. Get a GPD Win 4 instead. Same form factor. Modern hardware. Has a sliding keyboard.

i disagree, it's more than uncomfortable, i think PSP Go, it's analog stick especially, gave me a hand injury.
I tried PSP Go again lately, even after all those years i couldn't play longer than a few minutes without pain in my wrist.

hey maidbro, I don’t want to pay for the DSP. is the uConsole usable? it’s cheaper but I hear it’s hard to obtain one quickly. both appeal to me though.
>>
>>100172362
you should battery mod it if umd drive also broke. will last for 10 hours and no one cares for umd
>>
I used to be able to post to 4chan from my PSP but when m00t sold it to Google that stopped working.
>>
>>100173241
Just get the fatter battery that fits in the battery bay with a new cover, and keep UMD. UMD games are based and going way up in value, they'll be the next SNES cartridge because they're impossible to rip or pirate.
>>
>>100173667
wtf are you saying? we ripped umds in the psp
>>
>>100173667
UMD games are junk that nobody wants. Well, some coomlector might buy one as shelf-filling but if he's going to play the game, he'll download an impossible rip of the game from the internets and play that. Because nobody wants to hear the disc noise.
>>
>>100173652
you can still browse https sites using opera homebrew. most in read only mode unfortunately. but one of the coolest thing you can do with it, go to wiby.me on psp. those sites look so old that it really gives you that 2000s internet nostalgia seeing them how they were meant to be seen
>>
>>100173821
>wtf are you saying? we ripped umds in the psp
So? UMD is comfy. Just like putting a real cartridge into a real Game Boy is comfy. Stupid ESL thirdie.

>>100173868
>UMD games are junk that nobody wants.
Wrong, they're selling the same games, but shittier looking remakes, on Steam and the various app stores for a MINT right now. With UMD no Jew can nickel and dime you.

>>100173875
Wiby is based, agreed.

blame html5 for that

Blame m00t and g00gle who installed cloudflare and js captcha.

No, Hiro doesn't own the board. He's a fictional character used as a cutout.
>>
>>100174223
html5 ruined old internet way before any of those zoomer platforms existed
html5 is main culprit as to why everything went wrong. any device that doesnt support html5 is sign of better days... of better internet...
