I hate my ISP
>>100173157you don't need morealso in 2003 those numbers were totally unrealyou will appreciate your ISP and be happy
>>100173267The standard for gigabit is 1000/50. Any less is a scam.
>>100173321you are paying for up to that the ISP is doing a good jobmaybe upload could be better I get triple that on way less
me 2 bro...
>>100173157I had 1mbps download speed until 2015. I don't care
>>100173321the standard is 1000/1000 you battered dog
I literally don't need more
literally nobody is offering more than 50 Mbit uploads here>just use the cloud bro
>>100173157Just get more ISPs
750/750 @ $34 in canada but I got lucky. I am in an area where a small reseller is offering it to a few sqkm block of houses for a crazy price with static IP.
I'm on the shitter, so here is my wifi results.
>>100173933>smart selectwhat was so smart about it?
>>100174081I didn't have to screenshot the whole page, I could select the bit I wanted
>>100173333>you are paying for up to thatWrong. In my country (I'm not OP) we have a certain speed that is set as the worst case scenario. For upload on 1000/50 that's 42mbps. Still shitting on OP by miles.
>>100173461Yeah you aren't getting that outside of bug infested hellholes.
>>100173157Can someone please explain the point of fast ISP service? I have 300 Mbps service with 10 Gbe hardware internally so once the thing is downloaded to my main NAS streaming it to anywhere in the house is super smooth. I already get 20 MB/s on the average torrent and I don't have any 4k monitors yet, but would the extra download speed even make a difference for services like Netflix? Do they even offer more then 300 Mbps tier download speeds? Literally the only thing I can think of that saturates my whole connection is Steam. Not trying to troll here, but upgrading to 1 Gbps would be more then double the cost. What do people with fast Internet utilize it for?
>>100173933Here is my Ethernet results>>100174135>outside of bug infested hellholes.Hey, the US isn't that bad (in most places).
>>100174173>Literally the only thing I can think of that saturates my whole connection is SteamTorrents or driver downloads from nvidia as well
>>100173461lolLMAOroflNot a fucking chance.
>>100174213Most of those ISPs offer 1gbps service at least in parts of their network. Comcast offers 6Gbps fiber to my address (though at $300/month). Verizon offers 1gbps to their entire fiber footprint (over 6 million homes). Just because 1000/1000mbps is available doesn't mean everyone has it.
>>100174251>Comcast offers 6Gbps fiber to my address (though at $300/month).and I thought my 10gbps symmetric for 100€ a month was bad
I think I have the best DOCSIS 3.0 on earth. They can do 1000/100 too but that shit costs more than 10/2 gigatits from other ISPs so fuck that.
>>100173157€50 / month for this in yuropoor.
>>100174434They had an introductory price of $150/month, but it was only good for 3 years, after that it would go up to $300/month.
>>100174437SBB JE SRBIJABelgrade JE SRBIJA
>>100174479HAHAHAHAHAHA eat shit kraut holy fuck>serbia had this for 40€/monthLMAOOOO>>100174525>SBB JE SRBIJAI mean it does literally stand for Serbia Broadband. They suck ass.>Belgrade JE SRBIJANo shit?
>>100174437>I think I have the best DOCSIS 3.0 on earthMy ISP has 1000/100, 1200/200, and 2000/200 all on DOCSIS.
>>100173157Is this rate policing on fiber or do you have a docsis modemBoth are scummy but docsis is less bad (they should've run fiber though)
>>100174678No competition does this to a country.also>D&C lingokys, moshe
