>>100176564I don't use a custom rom, but my older phone forom 2017 running Android 7--that I only use for music and thus pretty much always has Google Play Music on--lasts for around a week or so, while my slabshit lasts for two or three days at most. I barely even use my slabshit since it's so big.
With lineage my Samsung tab s5e went from lasting 12 hours to 5 days on a single charge. I installed it because with samshit slopOS it was unusably slow, like loading a browser tab would hang the device for 10 seconds. It worked fine for years so I assume its some throttling "feature" for old devices.
Hey lads, just another guy confirming what's been said so far.In my case I installed the latest lineage with no google services on a Pixel 2, and good Lord my current phone with a battery almost double its size pales in comparison. So if someone has a secondary phone lying around it's worth a try
