I was praising 8.1 in the 8.1 days. Between 2015 and 2019 10 was an unusable, unstable mess, where 8.1 just worked as it should. A start menu deterred people from using it. Nowadays we have 72 different kinds of cancer added on top of Windows and people just tolerate it. How people praise Windows 10 just because 11 exists baffles me.
Windows 8.1 was fine only because they hadn't removed anything from the old Control Panel yet.
