As soon as at least one Linux distro works fine I'm switching completely, at least for laptops. High power ARM makes more sense than low power x64 desktop chips in a laptop if you value battery life.

Depending on what's available by june/july, I'm probably buying an X Elite powered laptop and using it as my college non-gaming machine. Unsure whether I should give Windows on ARM a chance or immediately stick some linux distro on it the second I get it. Will post my thoughts on /g/ after some time of owning one to let others know whether it's a pile of shit or not. Worst case scenario I'll still have my Intel (hopefully AMD soon) x86 desktop to run shit that can't be done on ARM yet.
