I've being EQ'ing back and forth my Oxygens to see which target I prefer most. And IMO the mids in the variations are too thin while also being a bit shouty in the treble. To my ears Hype 4 sounds best, even comparing to sleepy's and crins targets.

Kinda disappointed by the Artti T10, desu. /iemg/, Reddit, YouTube, Head-Fi, etc all said it was one of the best budget IEMs. I started with the Truthear Gate, then got the Artti T10 because I wanted to try a planar, and honestly, the Gate is a fair bit better to my ears. Imaging is more accurate, wider soundstage, better micro detail, and a much more natural timbre. The T10 sounds metallic and rather sibilant, I guess it's what people refer to as "planar sheen". With the right tips and EQ, these issues are mostly fixed and I get a more natural timbre, but even then I still think the Gate sounds overall better without even needing EQ. The Gate can be shouty and the T10 has better bass extension, but that's about it when comes to the downsides.If I didn't already own the Gate, I'd probably be impressed by the T10, but now I feel like nothing under $100 is going to make the dirt cheap Gate sound bad in comparison. I fell for the planar meme, people were saying this thing uses the same driver as $100+ planar IEMs and competes with IEMs 2x its price, but I don't even find it as impressive as the sub-$20 Gate. Next purchase, I'll jump to the $150-200 range to find a DD IEM that's actually a straight upgrade to the Gate, maybe Nova or EA1000.Thanks for reading my blogpost.
If you want bass go get the ER2XR even its closer to the Harman Beta 2024, and if you dont like the boost on the 1.5kHz just EQ like -2.5dB.

I'm continuously impressed by Tanchjim and how they have maintained a very cohesive and consistent design philosophy for their varied product lineup while balancing proper product development and release cycles. Hey /iemg/, what's the best method to clean a removable nozzle/filter?One of my nozzles on my Origin is now sounding muffled (presumably from earwax) and for the time being I've replaced it with one of the spares the Origin came with.
