what's cool about an IPAdapter is that it's not a lora, that means it doesn't rape the weights of the Flux model and make it worse to force the style onto it, it's also faster on inference than a lora, the only downside is that it's asking for a shit ton of vram, but if you have enough memory then it's fucking jackpot

FLUX Dev is good for realism, issue is the same-face and the plastic skin. With Loras and settings both can be fixed.
However if you want styles such as anime, amiga deluxepaint, etc you're gonna need a Lora, unless you wanna have a multiple-paragraph long prompt to get your 1girl anime style

Initially anon was able to coax out different styles but it was like pulling teeth and now it seems as if everyones given up on that in favor of using a lora instead which is really sad. Sad in the sense that a model with as many params as Flux only has a single default anime look.

The new IPAdapter/Redux models were neat to see but neither seem as good at copying styles as 1.5's IPAdapter.
