I run a fairly large site and only make like $400 a day from adsense.
Pic related is Linus Tech Tips dashboard. He's only making 300k a month from youtube ads. Also though, he sells merchandise and does sponsorships and still manages to pay 100+ employees.

Can you really get rich, solely running ads?
>>
why the fuck does linus have so many employees? he needs maybe 2

300k a month?

>Are ads alone really a way to run a business?
no. all large supposedly ad-supported online businesses are actually state sponsored intelligence projects
>>
No you retard
Do you know how many sponsors have plagued their videos for a DECADE

>Can you really get rich, solely running ads?
At scale, yes. See Google. A wordpress blog, not much chance.

he has like 4/5 business now. one lab, one merch store, one tennis facility, and 5/6 channels. his camera crew, editor and writer team aint even that big. how are you supposed to run all this shit with 2 people lol

What ever happened to that Madison girl that used to work there? I haven't seen her in a while in any of the videos.

I'm lucky to make 1/10th of that. What kind of site and numbers are you pulling?

He doesn't JUSt run one channel, he has like 6 of them.

That's what I think the secret to success is on Youtube: Diversify. You run a tech channel? why not also a car channel, a tech news channel, a tech politics channel, anything you're remotely interested in, make it into a channel and sell merch and run ads on all of them.

That's why I think he got successful in teh first place: He just started to whore out anything his employees were remotely interested in because that may be 300K a month on the LTT channel, then the techlinked and other channels are also making 300K a month.

I've never bought anything because of an ad before. Either ad companies have been wasting billions of dollars all this time or the average person is substantially more stupid and influenceable than I am.
>>
>>103297004
Yes, it is likely so.
This has been the answer to why my broser is 200 mb
>>
>>103297004
the 300k number doesn't include his sponsor money

That's the basic strategy of any business.

it's a shitload of cash but after business expenses, high canadian tax rates and a tonne of other crap they probably need to aim for this amount just to cover everything and still live comfortably. all those employees he has would eat up a good chunk of his cash each month.

Sexual harassment stuff apparently. Maybe Linus offered to give her his tech tip.

Probably locked in Linus' foot fetish dungeon

Here are some numbers from this week.
I don't really want to go into specifics about the type of site I run, because running the site and being on 4chan are not a good look, and the niche would be easily backtraceable.

when people cry about adblockers, posts like this remind me to never disable it.
> average viewable time: 22.16s
what the fuck. very interesting numbers, anon.
