It will do a better job of anonymizing your browser cookies and fingerprint.

I never understood the idea of punishing pass users by tying old banns and also having a history of banns connected to the pass. If anything, the correct business logic is to be more lenient with pass users: they paid money so make those 3 days bans into 1 day banns. Now everyone who has read about pass related banns should / would stay away from buying passes.
