hey /g/, let's talk about memory leak in the browsers.following previous thread >>107319195It's confirmed to me now that it's either the 4chan script (x or xl) or the *monkey addons.I tried 4chan XL and within few hours same issue, far worse than X actually, so I disabled the addon and reloaded the pages and kept looking at the ram consumption, it went 90% from 25gb to 2gb.. wtf is happening? what script everyone is using? do you use firefox? I tried all flavour of firefox too, this shit is driving me crazy!I have only like 5 addons enabled in total. This is technical discussion, in fact, it's the core of tech, memory leaks are serious matter and now in the ram expensive era, it matters more.
>>107342287Javascript can leak memory. Disable JS and go from there.
>>107342322But the site without 4chanX script is fine, I opened many tabs for a whole day and behaved normally, but it's unusable without the script.
>>107342336works on my machine
>>107342488well you have one tab, pen few say 8 or 12 and keep them for a whole day, what happens?also, what script/addon/browser/OS? Because I tried it all
>>107342287Brave and 4chan-xt. No problems here.
