Technologically speaking, 2006 and 2016 feel like completely different eras. But 2016 and 2026 feel identical, despite the fact that technological progress hasn't even stagnated at allWhy?
FOX!
Yiff in hell furfag
>despite the fact that technological progress hasn't even stagnated at allWhat revolutionary tech product have you seen release between 2016-26? We haven't had an iPhone moment. Our stuff has gotten better in some ways and worse than others. Tech is becoming more like Cars in that we see iterative improvements year over year.
>>108066363The only thing I can think of is AI, but that's not an iPhone moment. AI is a bunch of companies trying to make it into an iPhone moment and setting expectations AI cannot achieve. It's a shame Steve Jobs isn't around to mock AI as a glorified, copyright infringing tape recorder.
>>108066363virtual reality and ai
>>108066377VR continues to be 2016-26's 3DTV. I have a PSVR2 myself. It's a niche product in a niche sector with a microscopic audience. Look no further than the Apple Vision Pro, which is a dumpster fire on the software front.AI is a better argument when something like this can be made 2021 onward. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytVX6m7reRY
>>108066320Feel identical? Do you not realize the extent of how cancerous everything is slowly becoming over time?
>>108066320deepseek and sora existed in 2016?oh wait>american hours start on /g/>absolutely fucktarded threads get posted>entire board iq drops 15 points
>>108066468Aitard complaining about low IQ is crazy
> But 2016 and 2026 feel identicalNo they don't. Post 2020 era is even worse than post 2008 - pre 2020 era.For example, in the Internet in 2016 was not full of AI slop.
>>108066320covid and post-covid capitalism fucked up civilization real good.Other than so called AI there's nothing new and I have a feeling that in the upcoming decades if things won't get better even keeping current technological level will be a struggle.AI is kinda cool but not really, it's incapable of original thought so feels more like advanced data aggregator than real intelligence.
>>108066320The difference is that in the first era you were a kid and in the second you were an adult
>>108066650Ummm, you know that's a fox, right? Foxes aren't very known for smelling good and she's covered in fur, I bet she'd be really loud during sex too
>>108066485>tons of things changed but I dont like them>tech advancements that make my neovagina hurt dont count ok just say that
>But 2016 and 2026 feel identical, despite the fact that technological progress hasn't even stagnated at allWhy?You’re welcome
>>108066320I faintly recognize this fox from litechan.org, are you the administrator of that site? what happened to it?
>>108066363my security camera can now tell if it's looking at a person or not
>>108067291never heard of litechan but averiposting has been a thing for many years now
>>108066320There's been a lot of advancements from 2016 to 2026, it's just that they're also not that important or are too expensive. If you got the most expensive gear available now it'd absolutely dwarf the capabilities of BIS gear in 2016. But there's also the fact that as you age stuff starts becoming less interesting and wonder inducing and you are probably getting bored of tech and the advancements that amazed you before as a bright and happy kiddo/teen/young adult. IMO, it's a bit of a hot take on /g/, but I think a lot of people don't enjoy tech because of privacy FOMO/FUD where they engage with every new feature as something that could be a potential attack vector or a privacy risk or see it in most negative light as some form of adware or bloatware, while before people would without care engage with everything new.
>>108066320Technologically speaking, I want to cuddle with her and feel how sharp her cute silly fangs are with my finger, and give her ear scritches :3 Technologically speaking, of course.
>>108066320I wish real women looked this good
>>108066320I need to this fox
>>108068105i could really go for a chicken sandwich right about now
why is averi so popular here on the 'chan?
>>108068334Actually, same
>>108066320Maybe for you. I suspect you're young. What we have are just improvements of what already existed in 2006. The only real different technology is AI and everything else is more of the same.
>>108068434people still play gta5 and minecraft and those were made to run on 2006 hardware.nobody was playing games that ran on 20 year old hardware in 2006
>>108068542Yes but those are just incremental improvements, not revolutionary tech. It seems to me like that's what OP is trying to say. For example, many will point to the iphone. For me that's just a portable computer but some might say it's revolutionary because now everyone has a pocket computer, so it's revolutionary. There's no real change like that from 2016 to 2026 besides the AI fadI know several technologies that will be revolutionary this decade, one being solid state batteries and another self-healing materials. Both already exist and starting mass production.
>>108066320With hardware price increases, platform decay, new technologies being met with skepticism and associated with scams, sociopolitical changes moving people away from tech and towards more 'trad' lifestyles, and the overall pace of paradigm-altering discoveries being slower (all modern AI, for instance, is derivative of transformer architecture which was invented back in 2017) I feel like you could make a case for the present day feeling paradoxically less advanced than 2016, at least to your average non-tech enthusiast.
>>108066377>virtual realitymeme gimmick no one uses>aimore notable, but most people just use it as a better google search
>>108068857compared to fucking smartphones and internet popularization, the changes are minimal
>>108066320>2006 and 2016Mobile internet>2016 and 2026Slop machines
>>108068826>sociopolitical changes moving people away from tech and towards more 'trad' lifestylesAnd that's where I stopped reading.
Fuck you for turning me into a furry, stupid sexy Averi...
>>108066320> technological progress hasn't even stagnated at allLMAO
>>108069686I want to technologically bury my face in her chest floof :3c
>>108066377The VR we have now is basically the same technology we had in 2014 or earlier. Only thing that has changed is that we have better resolutions and fov and the headsets are a bit lighter. There are no new breakthroughs in that technology and the software side pretty much never had one.
>>108066320If I look up a phone with the same number of features as galaxy s5 I find 0 phones. Seems like a regression to me.
>>108069686Just imagine the sheer technology of fucking this AI fox!
>>108070103
>>108070167Not fluffy enough.
>>108069686Wait a minute, are you telling me those lumps in her chest fur are chicken sandwiches and NOT fox breasts?
HER board
perma ban this faggot already
>>108066320Go back to the sharty faggot
>>108070803You are brown.
>>108070803go back
>>108066377I love AI, fun times we live in
>>108070861She's so cute! And sexy!
>>108070879Cute and sandwichy...
I need to breed Averi.
>>108066970the only thing ai has done is allow the same nonsense slop we've been seeing for a decade get produced at lower quality faster, and tank the economy (again) (which is also nothing new)
The breakthrough of this generation is going to be real life anthros that are fully reproductively compatible with humans. But for some reason, the technology will only exist to make female anthros
>>108066320>But 2016 and 2026 feel identicalwat
>>108072192How do you think she would react to her pawpads being technologically glazed with cum
>>108070826You cant just call somebody brown!
>>108070761>he doesn't know
averi, my flat queen
Gee, one day you start browsing /g/, the next day you're a Linux user and a furry. At least I'm not a troon.
>>108066320i think this every time i walk into an old house and guess how long they've been living there. The only things new since 2006 have been flatscreen TVs, new consoles, smartphones,tv steaming ,and tech with AI in it that you can talk to.
>>108072977joke's on you. I was a furry and Linux user way before I started browsing /g/
>>108072859
>>108066363We got distributed write-only databases
>>108072954Imagine running your hands along her chest, not a single curve. Flat as a fucking washboard.
>>108075046no tits needed when you have the floof

>>108075164Which are completely flat and practically nonexistent until she's knocked up.
>>108072937Anybody who hates Averi is brown and probably Jewish as well.

>>108075505you know the artist is hispanic, right?
Anyone unironically replying anything along the lines of "what do you mean it's changed so much!!!" didn't live through 2006. They're younger than smartphones, never saw a crt. That's who it is. They are the first generation to be born into this new stagnation. They're not alone through human history of course, but they are the first of their kind in a few hundred years that grew up without significant innovation occuring in their childhood.
People have lost the creative drive due to social media being having an opiate like effect on the masses. Hell, even if you compare 2003 and 2006 they seem totally different, like 2006 and 2009, and 2009 and 2012. Look at all the creative ads and artwork from the early-mid 2000's vs everything now. It's like a totally different world. Once computers became ubiquitous, there doesn't seem like a need to innovate because we are all subdued by this technology. Being different is no longer an asset because people can be pacified by the latest algorithm. Sorry if I'm rambling I'm a bit tipsy but you get the idea.
>>108066363Technology has progressed but the user experience has regressed. Look at autocorrect. Having a list of words to reference worked decently enough. Now its 10x more complex while using 100x the resources but just doesn't work as good. Perhaps you could argue that its almost the same, but for all the effort put into improving it there just isn't much to actually show the end user. Its a single example but it really sums up the last decade in tech progress.
>>108067291Its a fox drawn by an artist that was outed as a racist. She has since disappeared from the internet or at least stepped back significantly but the drama surrounding it has made posting her characters a bit edgy. Its completely unnoticeable on 4chan but posting them anywhere else will get immediate replies about why averiposting is problematic.
