How do you host a website on the onion network and keep it online 24/7?
>>
>>108069868
Have you tried not being a minor attracted person?
>>
>>108069868
My problem is the tools I use would deanonymize me. There's like 30 people in the world that use the same web stack as me.

Bridge ftw

What happened in February?
>>
>>108071333
I’m not exactly sure. I suspect my bridge was handed out by Tor, or perhaps the network just trusts me more now.

Tor onion services are pointless except for criminals and spies. No one browses the dark web for any purpose beyond that. It used to be good for wiki leaks but ever since Julian Assange went to jail it stopped being good for that.
>24/7
You can't legitimate websites struggle to do this. I would say your best bet would be to set up kubernetes clusters and load balance between nodes hosted on different services, but unless you are a criminal I doubt your onion service will have the budget for that.

WRONG. Onion addresses are free and don't require any signup or credit card details. That means you can spin up a website without risking your privacy. Onion sites are useful for anyone who wants to protect their privacy, but are also very useful for those who want to share opinions that are controversial, that they do not want linked to their real world identity.

All my networking goes through Tor on principle because fuck the feds and fuck you. :-D
>>
>>108071541
>Goes through
Yeah probably to the clear net. Tor works fine as a VPN but for I stand by what I said about actually browsing the dark web. There's nothing on there that's useful to regular people. Its just criminals and spies.
>>
>>108069868
>How do you host a website on the onion network
host a normal website, install tor then uncomment/edit the below lines in /etc/torrc:
HiddenServiceDir /var/lib/tor/hidden_service/
HiddenServicePort 80 127.0.0.1:5000
>and keep it online 24/7
dont turn off your pc

>>108070583
do if for the users then

>>108071541
>All my networking goes through Tor
seriously? how do you put up with the shit speed? do you use a vpn after tor to access sites that block exit nodes?
>>
>>108072852
Regular people are not useful.
>>108073602
>do you use a vpn
No, you browse sites that have an .onion, why is this such a hard concept?
>>
are you 12 or retarded?
>>
>>108071190
What's wrong with OnionShare? In like 2 clicks it will give you an onion website that you can then keep online 24/7.
The problem is that OP isn't really saying what he's actually trying to do. What kind of website, why wouldn't it stay online, etc.
>>
>>108073715
ah yes, like the famous 4chan onion site
>>
>>108073868
So having a Cloudflare MITM is suddenly not an issue? Also there’s plenty of .onion sites to get trolled if you’re so into that.
>>
>>108074226
shut up faggot tf you even talking about, if all your traffic was through tor you wouldn't post here nigger
