A LOT less, more than half the size of the radiator. So space actually wants electronics to run hot if you want your radiator to be small and radiate away the heat fast.

If you want to operate a 100KW sat in space with 90C operating temp for your GPU, your radiator only needs to be ~100m2. If you run @ 40C 100KW sat, you need 200m2 of radiator size.

But the problem is that you can't get the same compute density on a satellite that you can on Earth, so instead you will need to launch thousands of satellites for one data center you could build on Earth.

Elon could instead just invest in building some mega factories in the US to churn out proper solar, not the stupid roof tiles shit, and use that along with his battery mega factories to power data centers on the planet, but the current administration doesn't rewards renewable energies so it's not appealing.
