We are doomed. We are going to die.
>>108104127The problem is not that we are going to die, the problem is that we are not dying fast enough.Accelerate.
>>108104127black holes were never an escape hatch. what is this retardation? it has been known for many decades they evaporate and once they are gone there will be nothing else left.

>>108104215This anon knows.Enjoy your doom NPCs!
>>108104287then how do you explain that the mass of the Earth grows, not shrinks mr Hawking? there was a theory that it grows fast enough so continents depart as a skin cracks.when will it start to evaporate?
>>108104127what makes you think this is the only universe, or the only universe in our universe?what makes you think anything is finite?
>>108104287From dust we came and to dust we shall return, anonThis physical plane is completely ephemeral, but it is only one facet of reality, and we have no reason to believe that heat death is the end of ends. Even the fact that the matter that makes up our bodies, the Earth, and the whole cosmos sprung up from nothing is a mathematical impossibility. Why are we to believe that this next time it's going to be permanent for all eternity?Placing a lot of importance on what the fate of the physical world will come to long after humanity is gone is silly
>>108104401The discussion was about black holes that mow down everything into energy they gobble up and a tiny bit escapes. The Earth will be burned to a cinder in 4 billion years after the Sun expands into a Red Giant. If humanity (or whatever it's called then) saves the planet out of sentimentality by moving it or something and the planet does not meet another forceful ending in trillions of years its building blocks, it's molecules, will spontaneously decay into atoms and the planet will disappear bit by bit until it's all gone. The Earth doesn't grow, some of its atmosphere escapes constantly in space, but a tiny amount of resources is deposited onto it by meteor strikes and shit daily.
>>108104419don't think. just listen to epstein's buddies
>>108104456this buddie?
>>108104287Can you expl as in it uding memes and suchbfrom my fsbourite tv show?
That's gonna happen in like 10 years bro, we'll figure it out
>>108104435this theory doesnt match the biological life forms that expand faster than non-biological forms. the Earth is alive, it eats sun and it will eat moon, and it will eat other planets and then it will eat other systems and black holes it will eat too
>>108104419It is not finite. The expansion is infinite and accelerating. The expansion will always accelerate to the point that the distance between each neutrino/photon will be increasing faster than the speed of light, meaning no two particles will ever interact with each other again.
>>108104429Because in 10^60 years, the protons themselves will decay and no molecule can be formed. There will be nothing but neutrinos, photons and quantum shit separated by void growing faster than speed of light
100% of people reading this thread will DIE
>>108104429>the Earth, and the whole cosmos sprung up from nothing is a mathematical impossibilityIt sprung up from a singularity at t = 0. You cannot have a state where t < 0, because according to general theory of relativity, there is no global time. The closer you would move backwards in time towards the big bang, the more it would slow down, like a geometric series. You can get asymptotically close to t = 0, but you cannot get to t = 0 either. Likewise after the heat death there will be nothing happening either. We are just in the middle where the life will be possible for once in history of everything and going back or forward towards infinity will just yield nothing.

The universe we occupy is inside a black hole, and every black hole in our universe is another universe. The scale of time just slows down, there can really never be a heat-death just expansin or collapse, also you can't go inside a black hole don't be retarded.
