Well you're just wrong if that's your accusation, I don't suffer from autogynephilia in the slightest. I don't believe that is tied solely to porn addiction, and while I could believe that is one component, I think there are several criteria that need to be met and one of them is not having a masculine figure in your life to look up to and want to be like. My dad set the standard for that when I was little by being a cool lumberjack handyman I wanted to be.

You can tell the GPU only has 3 screws holding the heatsink by the hotspot temperature, if the sight of the standoff not being fully seated wasn't obvious enough, xD.

I would say this is enough to at least continue the case torture test, but the results will be useless and contaminated with the hotspot temperature, so maybe I should have just DDU'd, stuck a HD 7970 or 290X in, and continued that way.

>>108112886
you know if you actually google "nvidia freezing" and set a time frame of the last few months or something, there is only a handful of actual results and most of them are talking about a specific application, but if you google "radeon freezing" its almost always the entire system being hardlocked by the drivers and its still ongoing. that should tell you all you need to know about the quality of their cards.
>>

I'm being facetious anyway because the actual number of failures is comically low

hey pcbg, wanted your opinions on this. i have the antec flux pro and a 420mm lf3 and i wanted to mount it on the front with tubes down, but saw that there is no space, so instead of mounting it with tubes up i decided to put it on top. the configuration that i think is best is pic related, with the rad fans in pull config and case fans in front and rear as exhaust; the gpu has its on intake on the bottom.
cant do any tests because im still missing the cpu from the build, but do you think putting the rad in front or configuring the top rad fans as exhaust instead of pull might be better?

Report all flamewarring, trolling, spamming posts. Long live /pcbg/!

remain vigilant, /pcbg/, report in silence, and above all - have fun.

Post your /pcbg/ anyway but know that we have enraged the amdshitposter to the degree that he has vowed to shit up this thread with trash with the goal of killing it.

Spotting the shitposters: the shitposters may be working at gunpoint in a bot farm, paid shill/bot farm, lone schizo, etc. the shitposters rarely ever just tags the OP and asks for it to be updated or changed as asked for in the second part of the sticky. they also resort to things like ad hominem, racism, cherry picked benchmarks, false information, etc. and one of my favorite things is the lone post tagging no one but responding to some previous reply to whatever argument it felt it was losing or with a one-liner just to flood the vapid minds of the unwashed masses with <specific vendors products>. the shitposters necropost old tropes to flood the threads and bump post counts e.g. random garbage questions that any /noob/ would just google or disingenuous descriptions of problems that are copypasta with a few words changed in them. Single line, low-quality posts are often the copypasta. Most recently the OP appears to be trying a super stealth approach - creating the OP with only "subtle" alterations like "-Avoid Nvidia Due To Possible Melting Connectors & Driver Problems", and griefing /g/ by creating and self deleting the thread after a short while.

can we talk about VA monitors? does any uses VA here? I made my VA have much better response times enabling overdrive and VBR (it's acer) but it locks my brightness at a level I don't even know, if I try to move the brightness scale it disables VBR, I've been trying ShaderBeam to add BFI to the monitor when playing locked 60 fps games, fighting games actually, but BFI makes the screen too dark, I need to be able to have VBR on and high brightness to get a very fast and very crisp image with ShaderBeam, can it even be done?

He's a shitposting troll. There is no such thing as an underclocked 9070 XT. Even the basic models are running the amd spec

I'm not happy with my monitor having an annoyingly angular gaymer look to it, I want to repaint it white but also want to replace the stand since it supposedly is VESA compatible.

Any suggestions on what the cheapest VESA 100x100 mounts are these days?

I'm trying to update my BIOS and I'm going insane
I've for an X870 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 9850X3D. The X870 isn't compatible with that CPU in the BIOS that comes with the system
I copied the CAP file from Asus' website to a Fat32 USB Stick, plugged it into the BIOS port on the motherboard, and when I boot with an HDMI port coming from the motherboard, nothing happens.
And every single tutorial on this online just talks about it as if you already have a fully set up PC and are just deciding to update your BIOS for fun one day

Prime is a value line that has a lower core clock than other models.
It's underclocked for less strict binning and thus cheaper production.
>>
>>108113583
im 83% sure you can just update bios from bios if you have internet now
>>

>lower core clock
It's the stock clock, anon.

When are SSD prices returning to normal? It shouldn't be as bad as the RAM shortage, right?
>>
>>108113593
I'm writing on my other PC, the one I'm trying to update is on a PC I'm building. Since the CPU is incompatible with the BIOS currently on the hardware, the new PC doesn't output any video signal at all, so there's no way to tell what, if anything, is wrong
>>
>>108113597
Literally everyone who responds to you is just going to doompost about the WEF and ze bugs, no one has any idea just like every other time this happened
>>
>>108113583
>>108113593

Can't POST into BIOS without a compatible CPU. Can't make CPU compatible without POST into BIOS.

anyone encountered shitty fans on 50xx MSI cards? I avoiding that brand for my 5080 for this reason and bought overpriced TUF instead
>>
>>108112513
This is why you always wait till the end to put in everything and don't touch your pc later. Ddr3 was very forgiving with everything you do but starting from ddr4 and ddr5 every single smallest modification makes your pc shit the bed. Memory retraining, mobo refusing to boot up without the exact gpu..
>>
>>108113596
Yeah, it has less strict binning so underperforming cards can make the cut.
It means there's less wastage as cards that can't do a decent clock are allowed to meet specification and the whole line is just underclocked as a consequence.
>>
>>108113611
then he should buy a cpu and return it

My new RTX 5060 does this everytime I install any driver version. Latest, the one before latest, super old version, doesn't fucking matter. At my wits end and considering returning this shit and just using my 2060 super until I can get a 9070 XT because I hear the Radeon drivers are rock solid now. Can anyone help because obviously I'd prefer to just fix this shit instead of having to go through all that.
