0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine.
1) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice on bare metal and run your previous OS in a Virtual Machine.
2) Use a live image and to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

Sometimes when I boot up my arch+kde laptop, it hangs on a black screen after the grub bootloader screen. I can't access tty, and I usually get errors like picrel on boot. Any ideas on how to fix this?
