GIMP is a great photo editing software, but it is no where near as powerful as Photoshop. You can learn to use it and adapt your workflow, but it is not a 1-1 replacement. Especially in professional work.I hate Adobe, Autodesk and Microslop as much as the next /g/utist. I wish FOSS was good enough that I could switch off of Windows, but it simply isn't there yet.
