When I did my thermal paste there was a little wee chip which had putty on it that I didn't know about, so I just put paste on it because who gives a shit, the gap was pretty small anyway so I'm sure it's fine. Now I am seeing mixed answers, some people say NEVER use paste to replace putty because blah blah blah, some people say its fine. So which is it? Am I cooked? Brought temps down by a measly 5 degrees or so but whatever, better than nothing.
