Does anyone else frequently see posts written by ChatGPT?

Yes, posts about ChatGPT have become noticeably more common on social media, mainly because of its rapid mainstream adoption and how easy it is to share things like funny responses, AI generated content, or useful prompts. While it is not more prevalent than core content like memes or personal updates, it has grown into a visible, mainstream trend, especially among students, creators, and tech communities. More importantly, beyond explicit mentions, ChatGPT is increasingly used behind the scenes to help write captions, posts, and scripts, meaning its influence extends far beyond the posts that actually name it.

>>108454684i hate web browsersi hate web 2.0i want to go back to 2006
>>108454684yeah, you have to be a fucking content creator even if you clean toilets now. have you seen the current linkedin meta posting? if you don't vomit a lengthy post at least once a day about how much you learned and did today you will never have corporate career. most of people cannot keep up so they just automate it, which results in the increase of required average, which results in even more automation on and on.
the problem with ai is how it will gradually feed off itself more and more to the point it makes no sense to us

>>108454684>They're not X. They're Y.It's a bullshit claim, too. Even if WebGPU offers high performance GPU access (it will always be behind Vulkan/DirectX/Metal since it's implemented on top of those and it must do extra validation that a native application won't).All I see are demos or things that look like mobile games from 2008 and perform like ass. How could they not when all the engine code, including all the hot paths, have to run in JS / WebAssembly? How could this possibly compete with just feeding the CPU native code that has been optimized in a painfully slow compilation process and includes profile guided opimization and link time optimization?
>>108454820I liked Runescape back when it was a Java (not Javascript) online. Not even RS Classic, the one before that, with sprite guys. That was kino back in the day. Also, Quake Live was cool while it was free online. Now all we have is kunker.io and it's also getting shittier and shittier.

>>108455070>people who post there there are also disconnected from realityI'm not saying this as a joke, I never assumed these were real people making real posts.Always assumed it was just some kind of fluffing, even pre-AI it's all just buzzwords mashed together to trick recruits and recruiters.
>>108454684I'd say approximately 95% of text-based content on the webz is AI-generated these days.
>>108454684unironically though what's the point of actually using a game engine now, anything that you can leverage text and keep it organized is just easier and knitting together existing libraries in code and customizing it if you know how to use AI is way easier than just learning some arbitrary game neigne garbage and using their trash UI. You could hack together a custom editor for yoursel if you really need it. not in the web browser of course, and you still need to be able to code but learning a graphics api and how it works feels way easier to me then learnining how to use some garbage api someone put together. If i learn the vulkan api I am actually understanding something if I learn how to use a shitty ui they might just get rid of that in an update and I don't reallly know how it works under the hood. it's not JS vs C it's WebGPU/Vulkan actual graphics apis vs Unity/godot/unreal
oh no not random ai slop on social media.guess that means we should stop datacenters from being built and prevent the technology from developing. who wants a cure to aging, cancer, and disease in general anyway
It's not x. It's y.

>>108454820There are none. The whole idea is more or less delusional. If I remember correctly, Insomniac Games tried something similar and attempted to port their tools to Chrome, which turned out to be a disaster.

>>108454893>>108455070There are actually small companies specialising creating personalized corpo spam for linkedin and twitter. I'm from Scandinavia and one such firm was featured in some article. 2 core people plus ai tools, they made lots of profit with this apparently. Almost everything what you see on linkedin especially is ai created more or less. This whole situation is funny because this is just glorified spam. In the past you had auto phone dialers and emails but now some faggot attaches his face to similar spam. Clown planet. I hope these people all die.
>>108454684Its becoming easier to pick up on. One thing I notice is the amount of posts where "random" stuff would be in "quotes". I see it frequently on Reddit.
Just like Quake Live more than a decade ago? Also we had native 3d in browsers for a decade too, why he make it sound like its some new breakthrough?
