Almost every person I see uses a iPhone. Almost every zoomer and even old people use iPhones. I sometimes see Samsung phones but almost never anything else. How did the iPhone become so popular?

You'd think I the age when you can get a RealMe on android with 8Gb of RAM for $150 people would just stop caring about brand, but it has become even more important as status somehow to have iPhones. Wrf, I recently boughted RealMe with 12Gb RAM for $250 or so and it is more than I could ever need. You would think if some Samsung Galaxy or iPhone that cost at least 5 times as much would offer something better, but it's literally not so. I had a Google Nexus One (and still do in fact) because I was heavy into their ecosystem and beta tested hardware for them at the time, it was a good little phone in its own right but any time I would use someone's iPhone, or later iPad vs Android tablets, the Apple products were notably more responsive, faster, nicer engineering and ergonomics etc.inb4 shill, I have never owned an iphone or ipad. Can't give good opinions on current phone market because I'm still using some janky old Samsung from like 2018.

iPhone works really well. It's a solid phone that isn't matched by anything else available. Android sucks and is stewarded by one of the worst companies in the world. It's not even close. That is why everyone you see has an iPhone. They're the definitive smartphone experience.

I've been using motorola the last decade. got a X style in 2016, then a g8 power in 2021, and an edge 60 pro two weeks ago. idk why more people don't use moto phones, they work fine and at a good price.
