How would you rank it compared to other image editing software?
it's digital painting software and I don't really use it because it absolutely rapes my battery life on my 2-in-1 convertible tableti like azpainter, it's like paint tool sai but FOSS and also X11-based, extremely lightweight and and basically no CPU load
So good that i could remove both KolourPaint and Gimp.It was a bit painful to learn, though.

Looks like krita has all the basic same stuff like effects, layer manipulation, selection tools, history, adjustments, and it also can import/create gifs on top. >>109151975Krita isn't image editing software, it's digital art software. I realize the difference doesn't make that much sense to an autist, but you use Krita to paint. For example Krita isn't intended to be a competitor for Gimp, rather you'd use both for different circumstances.
