No apps were able to detect it when you were rooted and you could run this cheatengine thing on them to give yourself 99999 dollars and you could also open up and edit the text files in them to give yourself all the inapp purchases 3) Glass screens felt like glass and not some kind of weird plastic4) All tablets used to have wacom EMR. now I pick up a fucking iPad pencil and this shit weighs more than my wacom pen from 10 years ago giving me carpal tunnel and has a battery in it. WTF5) Batteries used to last a few days and not 5 minutes6) Shit like ios dual booting android wasn't a meme. 7) Apps used to be one off payments of like 2.99 or 4.99 and not be retarded subscriptions. Games used to be actually GOOD

I don't know why Sony have abandoned the smartphone business in the States, it's bizarre that they've stepped away from such a huge market but it probably has something to do with trade tarrifs and the fact they're looking to spin off the Xperia brand like they did with laptops. Personally I wouldn't go with Sony as their flagship is expensive and the tech is on par with 2025 tier phones. So, as you won't consider other brands then, it has to be Samsung, a S26 Ultra. But the 1tb model is so much more expensive than the 500 also because it has more ram. I dont phone game so I doubt that's too important, but still.
