I barely see altchans running it. It guarantees you will at least have 2 people on your website poating. Is it expensive to host? Hard to moderate? Or is it simply not needed? I ask the last question because one of the more active altchans just has auto update on.

im making a textboard right now and im wondering if i should include live posting (like posts appearing on the page automatically not being able to see people type) or not. having a site with no client-side javascript makes me hard but being able to see posts in realtime makes me hard as well. i already have live posting working so i dont know if i should start over or what
