If something sits high in Artificial Analysis charts, that means they have the budget to pay for big numbers, which means they have the budget to produce a decent model. What their index tells us is Opus, Fable, GPT, Muse, Grok, Mimo, Qwen, GLM, and Kimi are all pretty good, and in my experience that's absolutely true.

repeated a task that ate 61% of 5hr usage on 5.6 xhighusing 6.0 xhigh ate 43% so seems like you get roughly 150% of 5.6 usage, which is... okay? it's still pretty tightgiven that opus seems to have improved a decent amount and has more usage in the sub atm (even including the 50% boost in 6.0) I think claude is the better deal right now in every way, esp since they fixed the brainfucking way of writing. the only exception is if you make heavy use of Luna, which is borderline free and has no competition from anthropic
