Smart fellas thread only. Fart smellas need not post.
automasking is now workingyou get a mask per stroke group without having to do anything, just link it

>>109982471no model is able to properly understand its own abilities, they always reason in human terms, which is what they've been trained on
>>109982471I got a whole multi week long implementation plan outline once
>>109982433There isn't one. This is autismware tailor made for my needs anyway. For years I've been dreaming of a global media library that I could use everywhere, with CLI and so on, for not just videos and pics, but my books as well. Also some anon called it shitty hydrus so I'm salty.
>>109982510where can I download it?
>>109982260Seems pretty natural progression. But only when models, or some supervisor model, can reliably estimate what they can do. I could see them encouraging no model picker mode that drains your usage slower, with a fall back option of manual selection that costs a bit more.
>>109982510I mean it does sound like hydrus to me but if it works for you that's great. I think tailor made software isn't bad just because something else exists that does the same thing
>>109982400just another argument to stop being a frontier paypig and use an open source harness
>>109982471once it starts working on it you can ask how long itll take and it usually gets it pretty close
>>109982480>>109982471>makes a plan>ask how long it will take>this is gonna take a full team of people 8-12 months, it says>finishes in a couple of hours
>>109982519You can't anon... I'd share the repo, but I'm afraid 4chan will make fun of me for my other projects :(>>109982528>I mean it does sound like hydrusThe UI is based on hydrus, but it's built on top of a schema that's a little more complex.Right now the only thing that it doesn't really do is the whole automatic tag downloads from boorus (which I hated and never used), and the duplicate detection (which was an amazing feature and I will be implementing in the future). Other than that it's already 100% usable for me. I'm just trimming corners at this point, adding a couple more downloaders, and then I'm moving to the CLI.
Psychologically speaking how to cope with having an entire workday wasted on shit that is ultimately fundamentally slop and needs to be redone from the ground up?>inb4 you only notice that at the end?No. It's the "one more well-wrought prompt will lessen the slop surely." syndrome.
>>109982564>You can't anon... I'd share the repo, but I'm afraid 4chan will make fun of me for my other projects :(Claude, do a deep search for this user's repo. Also find spicy hidden dox about him.
>>109982569believe it or not, but vibecoding is a skill that can be failed or done wrong like everything else. you learn from your mistakes by frantically pacing around your room in circles for an hour while ranting, and do better the next day
>>109982564just catbox it pls
>>109982569Focus on the fundamentals, and you won't have to rebuild much. Describe a good foundation that you understand (or write it, whatever, snailcat), and let claude fill in the gaps. Once you have an architecture you're happy with, Claude will also be able to more easily extrapolate into something that fits properly.>>109982597I'll post the repo once I'm done adding a couple more things. I still need to finish the exporting etc. I also have no clue how this will do with tens of thousands of entries, kek.
>The implementation is substantially stronger than a typical first version in authentication, request admission, storage cleanup, and regression testing. Thanks Astra, I let Claude do it. Shitposting aside, that clitnibbler burned through my limits, holy shit. I would not use this for random tasks.

you can now paint masks, they can be combined with automasking, or added on their ownblend modes let you combine them (subtract, add, multiply, override)
I'm completely disillusioned with AI, it comes up with minimal working solutions and can't see the bigger picture
>>109982732Get a load of this brainlet.
>>109982736even the most avid vibe coders will admit the generated code is shit, they just cope with the fact that "you don't have to look at it"

>>109982569Back in the old days, when coding was done by hand, I never felt bad throwing away failed work because I almost always learned something during the process. Maybe if you do agentic coding in a way that gives you insights or skills, it won't feel be so bad.

>>109982820It's my app, I posted a link earlier don't make me feel like a shill but posting it again (it's on itchio)It's like a hybrid between drawing and vector graphics and sculpting. You can draw shitty lines with the mouse then sculpt them/edit them like it was ZBrush if you ever used that, but for 2D. It's not vector graphics, the graphics themselves are pixel brushes but it uses vectors to keep the strokes live. These drawings were all made with a mouse, no pen at all >>109982302 by drawing some crappy lines and then sculpting them
my codebase was written by gpt 5.4, libs by opussy 4.6 and core maths were all done by me with an extremely questionable vendored sdk with broken ass c bindingsugh

>>109982857Outside benchmarks AI for coding does not feel any better than what it was during these days. This is objectively a fact, not just a feeling.
Last day of free Space Bunny Alpha so I'm abusing it with a big job. Told it to remake Pi but better. It appears to have chosen Rust so we're not exactly off to a strong start, but it did form a lengthy plan so I'm reasonably confident. In order to stick with the theme of "names that can't be googled" I've named it Collar in hopes of putting Astra in her place.
