Trump has just dropped a NUKE on Silicon Valley:>@VP: "There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused this system more than Microsoft.">Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers in 2025 after certifying that it could not find qualified American employees — yet the company was approved for more than 6,000 H-1Bs and filed 3,682 PERM applications, including nearly 1,000 applications for the same positions as the laid off American workers.>The H1-B visa program is meant to allow companies to bring in really the best of the best from outside the United States of America for positions that are completely impossible to fill with American workers. Unfortunately, the program has become rife with fraud.">@Sonderling47: "I am hereby suspending from the Permanent Labor Certification Program some of the largest IT outsourcing firms in the world — Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, and Capgemini — and also, due to multiple active federal investigations, @USDOL is suspending Microsoft and Adobe from the program."Are American jobs back in the menu bros?inb4 >>>/pol/
>>110016364Tata and Capgemini are the biggest cancers here in the Yookay. They genuinely support the visas of their employees and their extended families lmao
TOTAL PAJEET DEATH
>>110016364Amazing, only 30 years too late....and he's going to revoke that as soon as Jeetlon Musk calls him hyperventilating over any reduction of Indian Hindu invaders being mass imported to destroy civilization. India has been getting over 80% of all H-1B visas for DECADES. That alone tells you this was never about talent. Now every single tech company is already completely infested by Hindu barbarism, not to mention each of them were able to drop 2 little roach babies on American soil who get US citizenship- and use chain migration to import their 5 million family members each.
People need to understand the different between which programs offer h1b sponsorships and which offer greencards. Some people will consider this a bigger win, but others are going to be disappointed.
how you gonna deport claude lol
>>110016477I think almost everyone on the planet would prefer AI take their jobs than jeets.
>>110016364>MicrosoftThere's bigger fish to fry
>>110016364Technology ??
>>110016505That's fucking astounding.
>>110016505No wonder we're in the enshittification era.
>>110016364I interviewed with Capgemini once. It was for a DevOps position and they gave me a timed test where I had to fill in the blanks with Java method names from a library that wasn't even mentioned in the job posting. As if I was supposed to have them memorized. And they wanted me to be okay with packing up and moving across the country every 3 to 24 months as necessary with no guarantee of employment when I get to the new place. It paid 70k.Truly, only Indians are qualified for these jobs.
What's the point of doing this now when the hot time to get into tech was between 2 and 15 years ago?Too little too late.
>>110016680what is "hot" now? sucking dick? fuck off
>>110016680You still need someone to type in the prompt and accept the code changes without manual review.
>>110016364pre-election theater
>>110016364You got em angry in here lol.
>>110016364I guess these corporations offended the current regime in some way so they're being punished. This says nothing about restricting larger offenders like google and musk
