Why haven't you updated to Windows 26H2 yet? It reduced RAM usage.
>>110035743Because I upgraded instead to Linux. It uses even less RAM.
>>110035743Because I do updates rather like enterprises do: I evaluate my hardware and software, construct an SOE, and then push that out to all my computers.I'm not actually a fan of automatic feature updates, even their EP versions. Some may claim "hurrdurr but the code is already there" - yes, but it's not turned and not running until the EP turns them on.Finally, none of my computers have less than 16GB RAM - even my $300 HTPC has 24GB - so "reduced RAM usage" isn't exactly a selling point for me.
Because I saw the writing on the wall and switched to linux like everyone else with a brain. I used Windows 95 through 11, so I got to see the enshitification in real time. Everyone should've prepared to jump ship when Office365 landed.
>>110037517Why do all 15 year olds repeating whatever YT microchannel they outsource their thinking to use the same transparent bullshit cope? This needs to be studied.
>>110037707Nice sentence, zoomie.
>>110037707Pasta time:>Kids tend not to tolerate "old people" correcting their misinformation. As far as they're concerned, they get enough of adults>telling them what to do between home, school, or any McJob they might be old enough to have. The main problem is they>they fetishise stuff: they look at retro-computer games or Beatles records - any relics from some "golden age" they weren't>around for - and tend to make up what they imagine it must've been like... based mostly on YouTube videos and a healthy>dose of wishful thinking. When that gets challenged by people who were actually there, having no actual first-hand information>to go on, they start spewing weird shit as a defense. It's an variation of "people who are dumb can't imagine being smart":>kids who don't know can't imagine knowing - and they will just spew hearsay, memes, and even just make something up or>start hurling insults, in the vain hope that nobody will notice how wrong they are. This gets especially bad online (Facebook>and 4chan are great examples), where their ignorance is roundly scorned - and they'll double down on their bullshit, or at>least try to pretend it was trolling or ironic shitposting.
>>110037707>why do people who outsource their thinking all do the same thingbecause they outsourced their thinking
>>110037903>Kids tend not to tolerate "old people"yeah but they're all hooked on millenial streamers, niggas so braindead their digital Jesus Asmongold has to break down common sense to them. It's so fucked. When I was a kid I wanted to be a ninja turtle and pull off cool stunts like jackie chan so I went and did karate, then later taekwondo. They're role models are completely fucked. They have no fucking Arnie flexing his glorious arian muscles.
>>110037903>>110037911OK. Fair enough.
