Millenials are the last generation to have broad tech literacy, it is all downhill from there. Every following generation can't troubleshoot their way out of a paper bag, with the exception of enthusiasts. PCs haven’t been just for enthusiasts for decades.
Cool. Less competition for my kids.
Maybe if the older generations actually bothered to teach their kids how to use these systems instead of just shoving Cocomelon tablets in their faces before they can talk this wouldn't be a problem
millennials were always the coolest
millennials are the most privileged generation who got to have the best childhoods and lived through the early tech boom before it all got enshittified to death, it's not fair
>>110110969Not if you grew up in the soviet union
I don't really blame the kids honestly, it was a combination of most parents not really being tech literates, most schools had computer classes and that but for the most part they were "useless" as in a sense of either being seen as a time where yoi could game or being taught irrelevant things and also the rise of smartphones which "rendered" pcs (okay not exactly but I think you guys get what I mean), millennials were "lucky" being born in an era where internet and modern tech weren't that simple, companies weren't that hard into, algorithmic internet was in its infacy and basically all of thatAlso for the thumbnail talking about linux, the thing is that the only reason that it's not popular is because it's not pre installed in most products, and if it was it would be more popular take for example Android although it is own os , it came from linux (although you can't call it distro) if we include Android as part of Linux then Android becomes the top due to it being pre installed in most of smartphones/tablets (other than Ios)
>>110110929Idunno, after all these years they could have developed at least some curiosity with how shit werks they chose to get hooked on millennial youtubers instead
>>110110731What happened to this dude and that trans thing?
>>110111762he's also retarded socialist who doesn't understand what capitalism is. many such cases
>>110110731I thought it was a meme, but i am noticing it with my zoomer nephew and gan alpha niece. They have never used a PC, mouse or keyboard. Never opened settings on a smartphone or console etc. the moment tiktok doesn't give them the magic answer instnatly they give up. And they don't know how to even look for solutions. They just assume gpt or google magically knows what they are talking about.
>>110110731>PCs haven’t been just for enthusiasts for decades. And are now becoming unaffordable
festival cardboard tents
>>110110731That's why we need to liberate Iran. All of the kids practice advanced opsec.
>>110111762after he burned down his company, friendships and entire life for her she went on to be an onlyfans whore sucking and fucking men who weren't him on camera. he is one of the most punished cucks of all time and he deserves every bit of it for ruining tek syndicate.
>>110110969It really was wonderful and I'm sad the kids these days will only live with the scraps and the enshittified corpse of the old internet
You are derelict as a parent if you handed your child a tablet before handing them a libreboot or coreboot Thinkpad with GNU/Linux on it. Derelict! You get what you fucking deserve in your kids, assholes!
>>110110731heh
>>110110731democracy doesn't work, we stand on a pile of democratic failures. We're failing, not succeeding.
>>110110969clown. I'm gen x, but you're a clown.
>>110110969soilennials will be remembered the same way that boomers were. they had everything good, and then turned everything gay
>>110117778Gen X did that while Millennials were still in school.
>>110117846It wasn't good.Stop gaslighting. You have all these stupid faggots lying.I had a job, it was shitty. :|WHAT FAGGOT SAID EVERYONE USED TO BE RICH????!!!!!!!!
>>110110731what do you think android is
>>110117846>while Millennials were still in schoolyou were still in school in the 2010s?
>>110110731I just updated my Debian install and it broke zoneninder completely. Can't even get it working again. Great operating system.
>>110110731IF linux wasn't a complete fucking chore to set up anything, I'd use it.
>>110117888millenials entered the job market around 2010-2020 (the earliest half if they didn't go to uni)product and engineering managers are boomers and aging genx-ers. millenials are typically the mid level developers, ui designers, "scrum masters" and business analysts. they happen to be "senior" if it's some startup or outsourcing sweatshop that doesn't care what these titles represent.
>>110118029the whites were forced out much sooner than that.the indians didn't bother studying. they were just leveraging the system, they knew they wouldn't be doing any code or any other such nonsense, they'd email all that the hyderabad.
>>110118029yeah so they entered the work force and then everything turned gay. that is exactly what i said
>>110110731I don't use Linux because I'm competent and tech literrate

I'll switch to linux when some vibegod ports all my apps to it.
>>110110731no one expects a personal distributed computing mesh
You don’t need to troubleshoot anything. You can just ask AI
I don't understand why everyone is blaming one generation over another, when in reality the problem is obviously jews.
>>110117881android is as linux as wayland/dbus. cant even use http on your own tailnet any more
>>110118149because* xirs wanted console, iphones, and to make no attempt at personal distributed computing but sell access from one device to another through a cloud subscriptionthats why do nothing group is able to build personal distributed computing out of x windows and javascript
>>110110731Linux isn't free. Not because of your time, but because to actually use it without pulling your hair out you need to pay for a $20 dollar AI subscription to help you with any issues you run into. Personally ever since I switched I've been able to learn basic GUI stuff quickly, but for anything in the console besides updates and basic commands I need AI to help me. I just paste in errors and it spits out a fix and it just werks. I think 20 a month is worth it for a smooth running OS thats open source and has a lot more capabilities and freedom. It just needs that extra help
>>110118169or you could learn what computers are and how to use them like millennials did. anything but linux is sharecropping and letting silicone valley spy on you

>>110117778Godlennials had the best timeline. We enjoyed it all, it was uniquely ours. A legendary past to reminisce about. We turned nothing gay. We enjoyed greatness.
>>110117778na we got to see some of the best of the last before genx ruined it just in time for zoomers
>>110118632Idunno hipsters were kinda gay. Emo and Scene kids too.
>>110118655The % of zoomers that identify as trans and gay is like 10x the amount compared to previous generations...
>>110118666proof?
>>110118666everything i can quickly find suggests they're only about twice as gay as millennials, though like 6x gayer than genx, millennials were hit pretty hard as well

>>110118729xirs are the only generation to take transsexualism seriously. they had women who wanted marriage and family. millennials had slutwalkers and never believed a word of the lies we were forced to repeat. then zoomers grew up with obama lunch in school and teachers who worshiped obama
>>110118783yea, it can all be traced back to a sharp decline in the quality of women, probably because of social media. btw when i say "gay" the data usually counts anything "lgbt", which in turn counts anything not expressly straight. most of them in any category are bisexual
>>110118753
>>110110969>>110117778 Everything you hate about millennials was started by Gen X, yet somehow they managed to pass the blame onto the next generation.
>>110110731I stopped using it because modded games, especially ones that need mod launchers, are an absolute fucking nightmare.
>>110118790>probably because of social mediathe problem is church pastors who reflexively side with women more than divorce judges do. since gutenberg everyone has a Bible and since a few years ago tts on your computer is great so you dont have to pay anyone to read the Bible for you. but people are too lazy to listen to the Bible on audio and not embarrassed to not know a single thing in there
>>110118655>Emo and Scene kids toothanks for reminding me about how many times i fumbled prime scene girl pussy, you fucking prick
>>110110731I'm a bit shocked that this happened, but it's true.In my teens, I thought that my parents were going to be the last computer-illiterate generation. With the internet, I thought everyone would be super knowledgeable and balanced people, thanks to the free access to all the information. It made sense. They didn't grow up with computers and the internet, but every new kid did.Oh... how terribly wrong I was... I completely mispredicted this.I have been observing everyone become completely helpless when it comes to IT.Maybe it was the smartphones being easier to use? I don't know.Nowadays I see people doing email, and even video-editing on phones, which is completely asinine to me.I see people preferring to use a touchpad rather than a mouse.I see people saying they don't really mind typing on a smartphone's software keyboard. And instead of being informed and pondered, I see everyone getting radicalized in some political corner. It's becoming insane. I completely mispredicted EVERYTHING.
