Lessee, blockswap and quantized models are really the big ones. A few things im constantly repeating in the threads, though:

>color match node - colors drift over time in these gens, especially if you chain last frame i2v for longer clips. There are beefier solutions, but running your final assembly through a color match node with your base image for reference can do a whole lot to bring it back
>upscaling - prevailing wisdom is to start out with a lower resolution gen, 480p for instance, and then upscale afterwards. This is fine, but many of us stray from this path after we find that genning at higher res takes longer, but we have higher success rates and the features are better. I'd say, start low and work your way up as you get it figured out. The time spent upscaling a lower res clip is a wash compared to just genning the higher res, but until you learn your way around prompting etc you'll have a high fail rate.
>interpolation - the video models are designed for 16 FPS. You can save at whatever FPS you want, but that'll just mean your clip is in fast/slow motion. Save at 16 FPS, then when you're happy interpolate to 32 or 48 or 64.
>CRF - these video files get fat quickly. VHS video combine node lets you set CRF, which is compression ratio. Higher is more compressed. Work at a low CRF until you're done, then make up a quick workflow that let's you run the final result through to save at a higher CRF. 12 is near lossless and what i save working files as, 19 is default but slightly lossy, but at like 26 or so you can fit a 30 second high res clip into 4mb for posting here.

All of this is possible in ComfyUI with a little patience. Good luck!

It's wan2.1 - I only have a 2070, 8gb of vram, and I believe 2.2 doesnt really work. Do you have any tips on speeding up a gen (besides getting rich and buying a new gpu)? There's something called sage-something or other, but it doesnt work on a 2xxx card.
