Huh. Yeah, I've seen that weird drift, too. I think what's happening is that SVI is trying it's best to continue all motions that happened in the previous chunk smoothly. So if it starts panning to the left, it's going to keep panning to the left. Probably faster, because it has a tendency to speed up over time. Your options are to either redo the first chunk without the pan or prompt some additional camera movement to cancel it out. It can feel a bit like swimming through molasses with SVI's poor prompt adherence, though.

Well i'm retarded, I got comfy running and already played around with a handful of workflows just fine. I've been trying for the last day trying to fix this mediapipe shit then they also expect me to chase down specific files the nodes need but of course they don't tell you where to get them and when you manage to find it there's several versions available and not all of them work so you end up downloading hundreds of GB for these stupid fucking workflows then when you get that shit running you run into another worthless problem. I just want to gen goon material dude not end up learning python via 10 hour courses online

I just switch to a different workflow if I hit a brick wall. Most workflows are made by people who barely know what they're doing that are just sharing a slightly altered version of what works for them. If it doesn't work for you, move on to the next one.

ComfyUI is the Goat in that it gives you close the full level of control you'd get running everything from command line and manually tweaking the code without having to actually do that. It lets you stay on the cutting edge and use the newest, shiniest toys. It is not the goat for ease of use. You probably want to use something like Wan2GP. Your results won't be as good as they would be if you could no life it in comfy, but it sounds like you can't no life it anyway.

That's, I want to say, 5 gens stapled together with VACE. Starting image was just them looking at the camera, then I used Qwen to make keyframes of the various combinations of them kissing. (It was a few weeks ago, so this is all vague memory.) Pretty much all my recent gens up until now were Wan2.2 FLF that I VACE'd together.

I find using the Qwen keyframes for FLF helps with drift and gives me a chance to short-order cook a bunch of ideas before hitting go. I'm still exploring the possibilities there. It has trouble understanding my demands sometimes - tried a few different NSFW variants, but none of them seem to understand any synonyms for butthole, which I confess is a huge problem for me.

Multiple trips in and out of ComfyUI for each clip wrecks colors, so I've got a color match node in my final interpolation workflow. Works best with an even number of gens so that color errors all end up in the same place, if that makes sense.

Anyway, here's an older version of the workflow I made for VACE - it's a bastard, but it automatically makes masks based on frame count you specify, lets you specify overlap and how many frames you want in between, and then interpolates the joints between the first clip, the VACE gen, and the last clip. Civit marked it as XXX for some reason, and I've never bothered to fix it, so you have to be logged in.

I agree, SVI seems to be much better for coherent transitions, but it doesn't seem great for changing up the action. I don't really know yet though, just getting started. The lack of control vs my previous methodology is my sticking point.

Cut off 8 frames from the end of the first gen, 8 frames off the start of the second one. Then use the 4 last remaing frames of the first gen and the 4 first remaining frames of the second gen as context for generating the now missing 16 inbetween frames.

Yup, VACE for transition frames. With a FLF joint that's pretty close anyway, I find I can overwrite a handful of frames on each end and smooth it right out. Obviously the bigger the shift in motion/speed the more frames to be overwritten.
