What people hate about going to a doctor is waiting in a cold fucking empty silent room for several hours just to be seen, filling out the same fucking forms over and over every time, wasting your entire fucking day just to get a bump looked at or a prescription written for some simple antibiotics. On top of that, people generally dread going to the doctor for fear of receiving a terminal diagnoses of some sort. Ignoring it is mentally easier than dealing with it.
