Vram is faster and is needed for it to work tho, so having more is better anyway. It is a question then of how much ram you have as tha twill do a lot of the heavy lifting anyway. But assuming an nvidia card (as AMD need more work to get to work and will be slower) then it depends on the model. A 2070 will run H3 but probably won't run the ref2video model that well as it's only 8gb and an older card whilst a newer 8gb card will have more luck.

The only reason people are wowed by this is because they feel normal AI genning still has a AI feel to it, so they hark back to using existing filmed scenes and simply changing the face/hair/body to make the scene different by injecting a character that was not in that original scene. So a case of like CGI in movies to put a long dead actor in a scene type of thing. I do think people will get more creative with just the face swapping so as to ad context to why the yare doing whatever they are doing in a scene even if it's a porno. At the end of the day that is really what counts, one off clips are good, but these are going to get tired very quickly.
